this it a short love story about a neko that has had a boyfriend for years and they are madly in love.
the Neko's boyfriend is very protective and asked his neko boyfriend to always stay in cat form when people come over that don't know his secret.
I was in the living room watching tv when I heard a car door shut at first I thought it was Dave but it wasn't I smelled something else or someone else. So I went to the window and looked and that is when I saw a woman I have never seen before, she then takes out a key and starts to unlock the front door.
I then get scared and run to the bedroom and lock the door and get my phone and called Dave. After the third ring, he picked up.
"Hey kitten, what's up," Dave says over the phone.
"Dave I'm scared," I said being scared.
"Whats the matter Nicky?" Dave asks with worry.
"A woman just showed up and then she unlocked the front door and walked in and then I ran before she could see me"
"Where are you now?" Dave asks.
"In our bedroom and I locked the door" I then hear footsteps "she's coming this way" I whisper and getting more scared.
"I'm coming home Nicky just hold on" he then hung up.
I then go into my cat form and hide and wait for Dave to come home.
DAVE POV
After the call, I got my stuff and headed home.
When I get home I see a red car parked at my house.

After I parked my car I walk into the house.
"Ok, who the hell is in my house," I said being mad.
"You watch your tone young man" I turn around and gasps "close your mouth before flies go in"
"Mom" she then smiles and hugs me and I hug back "what are you doing here?" I ask as we break the hug.
"I came to visit you," mom says.
Then it hit me "Nicky" my mom looks at me confused.
"Who?" mom asks.
"I'll be back" she nods, I then go to my bedroom and use my key and unlock the door and then I open it and walk in and look for Nicky "kitten" I then hear a meow from the pillows and then I see him come out and he looks scared "it's ok kitten" I then pick him up and carry him in my arms and walk out.
When we got to the living room I sit on the couch and rub his belly and he purrs and snuggles into me.
"That's a cute cat you got there honey," mom says as she sits next to me, she then looks closer at him "she looks a bit chubby is she pregnant?"
"Yes" I take a deep breath "mom I'm getting married" She gasps with excitement.
"O my god I'm so happy for you, who's the lucky girl?" mom asked with excitement still.
"I'm not marrying a she, I'm marrying a he" she gasps. "mom I'm gay"
"Ok," she says.
"Wait you're not mad that I'm gay and marrying a guy?" I ask.
"Of course not, have you forgotten that my older brother your uncle is gay too," she said.
That's right I have a gay uncle and he's married and they have kids of their own thanks to the adoption.
"So who's the lucky guy?" she asks.
"Well his name is Nicky"
"Isn't that the same name you said earlier?" She asks, I nod.
"Yes it is"
"Well can I meet him?" she asks
"Um........" I look at Nicky and he looks at me, even if I can't understand him in cat form I can see in his eyes that he wants to know if she's trustworthy "mom before you can meet him I need to ask you something"
"Yeah go ahead honey," she says.
"Can you keep secrets?" I ask looking at her.
"Honey before your uncle came out that he was gay I kept his secret from your grandparents, so I can keep a secret," she says.
"Mom this secret is huge and not many people know this so again can you be trusted of this secret," I said with a stern voice.
"Yes honey I can, now let me meet him," she said.
"Ok" I put Nicky on the floor "go ahead Nicky its ok" he looks at me then walked away a little bit and then he shifted into his human form and she gasps "mom meet Nicky, my boyfriend/so to be husband and the love of my life" Nicky then comes to me and sits on my lap.
"What is he?" she asks.
"He's a Neko mom as in he's half cat, half human"
She then gets up and comes right in front of us and looks at him closely "wow I've never seen such a thing like this"
"He's not a thing mom," I said in a protective way.
"Sorry I didn't mean it like that it's just that I have never seen anything like it" she then starts to bring out her hand and then she stopped "may I," she said looking at me.
"Don't ask me, ask him but if you try to hurt him any way you will regret it," I said.
"I promise I won't hurt him," she says, then she looks at Nicky "can I" Nicky nods slowly. She then touches his ears "wow they're so soft and is that a tail" she then takes it and looks at it and then rubs it and that makes Nicky moan, she then stops
"Sorry I should have warned that his tail is very sensitive," I said, she nods
She then started asking questions and we answered them the best we could until she asked about his past and that made Nicky cry and cling himself to me.
"What I do?" she asks.
"You asked about his past and that makes him cry and upset every time" I cuddle him and make him feel better "its ok kitten I'm here and you are cared for and loved and there are no bad people that will hurt you" I rub his back.
After a few minutes Nicky calmed down and what he said next surprised me.
"Dave I'm going to tell your mom my past," Nicky says.
