"Pagiel! Come and prepare my second favorite food for me please for once in your life time", Obed entered the kitchen to put things in place. "Will be there in a second ", Pagiel got herself ready and joined him there. [Pagiel's phone rung. The caller was Gabby, she frowned to what she had just heard and switched off her cell.]
OB:Who was that?
Pagiel :Gabby, she told me there are rumors about...
OB:About who?
Pagiel : You! That you have been going to the principal's office to change your grades.
OB: What the hell, who can possibly do this to me.
Pagiel: I don't even have a clue. Bro I hope it is not true because I can't behave it.
OB: Pagiel, do you really think I can do that. How many times do you see me learn?
Pagiel: Almost everyday.
OB: So why shouldn't I get good grades. I need to know the person who did this.
Time was running so fast that before I knew it, it was eleven o'clock. Being bored through out the day telling my mind to Eugene and Co. Hmm! Slept with pain.
"I have to put all the blame on Mika so that Obed will hate her and love me later, for that I can wait", Sandy thought.
Obed was walking by the library but entered to check on some books on a particular shelf. Sandy kept stocking him and later stood infront of him for a chat.
Sandy: Hello Obed.
OB: Yh! Any problem.
Sandy:I think I know the person who did that to you.
OB: Who did what?
Sandy :Dont pretend, it is all over the place. So do you wanna know or what?
OB: I'm all ears.
Sandy: I saw Mika telling a group that you did all those things.
OB: Mika?? No no she can't do that.
Sandy: She did, I saw her with these eyes of mine.
OB: It can't be, she won't do that to me.
Sandy: She can and she did. She is a pretender.
OB: Ooo! Really, she could say all those things about me then we shall see.
"So who could actually say those bad things about Obed. He's a nice and good guy who can never do that", Mika told Eugene and some other guys when they were heading to Obed's house. "He can't do what they have accused him off. The person who did that will surely lay for it", Eugene took part in the chat. [They got to the house and Pagiel gave them seats in the garden. They kept chatting until Obed came there will angry eyes when he saw Mika.]
Obed: Can you do that to me. After all the good things we have shared. thought I could trust you. [Everyone was confused and kept staring at one another then to him.]
Obed:You making all those bad things up thinking that it will work. Let me tell you it won't work.
Eugene: Obed stop this nonsense. What has she done to deserve all these treats.
Pagiel :We know you are angry but who told you that Mika did it. Someone you have known and became close to.
Obed: Sandy told me that she saw (pointing a finger at her) telling others about me.
Mika: I- I ... I (everything breaking her heart she was speechless and just got up and left)
Eugene :Mika! Mika! She did nothing so I don't know why you said that. [Leaving Obed behind everyone left including Pagiel who went to her room with sorrow.Eugene went after Mika to comfort her.]
Obed: Yes, leave, all of you. I don't need any of you.
Eugene: Mika wait!
Mika: I can't believe he said that to me. Who could actually hate me that much to tell him such a thing.
Eugene :Take it easy, he's not in his right sense since he's angry and hurt. Take your time and breath.
Mika: Upon all the time we spent together, he thinks I can do something like that to hurt him, for what? I'm really angry he shouldn't come close to me again.
Eugene: Don't say that please.
Mika:Dont defend him.
She walked away from him to think of what to do next. Pagiel was in her room listening to her favorites when she looked through the window to find Obed seated with a moody face. She didn't pay any attention and continued to do what she was doing.
