Chris grinned broadly as he spun his son around, smooching his entire face and hugging the small boy tightly. After yet another spin, he carefully slowed down, kneeling onto the ground to regard his son.

"I'm so happy to see you again, Elliott, Papa missed you very much", he mumbled as he hugged his boy tightly yet again. Then he ruffled brown, short hair.

"What did you do while I was gone? You behaved like I told you to, right?", he asked, eyebrows raised in a genuine question. Elliott nodded enthusiastically, hands placed behind his back.

"That's my boy!", Chris chuckled, slowly standing up again.

"I watched your shows every morning, Papa. One day, I want to scream like you! Like a big dragon!", the child exclaimed, arms raising like that of a monster's and releasing a low growl that was supposed to imitate his father.

Chris did his best so surpress his laughter, making a very impressed face instead.

"You're doing quite good already! I can teach you once you're old enough, Ell. Now, won't you go downstairs to greet Ricky and Ryan? Vinny is at home already", he smiled, and Elliott's eyes widened, the sight of his Papa had made him forget that he wasn't alone.

Beginning to sprint, the boy raced downstairs, his socks making the whole ordeal so quiet that Ricky crashed into the couch as Elliott unexpectingly tackled him from behind.

"RICKYYYY!", he yelled, his eyes closed and mouth wide open in a big, fat grin. The only response was a very shocked "Woaaah!", a thud, and at last, a muffled "Hi there, Elliott".
A loud laugh could be heard coming from towards the stairs, the band's vocalist amused by the way his son showed his affection.

"He loves you to death, honestly", commented Chris, scrambling to snap a picture of the pile of limbs with his phone. Perhaps two.

"Well, he's the first child who loves Rickster", mentioned Ryan, and Chris covered his boy's eyes when Ricky flashed Ryan the finger. Slowly recovering from the shock, the long haired man sat up in order to look around.

Chris stared at Ricky.
Ricky stared at Chris.
Chris looked away.
Ricky looked away.
The room was silent.

"Papa, Ricky, is everything okay?", Elliott asked, seemingly noticing the tension, though being unable to properly get behind the reason of it.

"Yes, everything is alright, champ", Chris reassured him, biting his lip in a manner that seemed to radiate stress, though it was rather because of confusion and being unsure of something.

Elliott let it go, focused on Ricky now.
"Hey Ricky, can I spend a night at your house sometimes? I wanna pet your lil doggie again! I love him!!", he explained, missing the small pet.
The man nodded as he eyed Chris for permission, who gave him a nod in return.

"Of course you can! I'm sure he misses you too", he exclaimed, before ruffling the boy's hair.

Ryan looked at his watch and coughed.
"Hey um, I think we should get going - I still need to do some things today and I'll be home in like 2 hours anyways, pretty late", the man said, as he would drop Ricky off.

Elliott pouted the whole time as they got prepared to leave again, but hugged both Ricky and Ryan tightly and with all the love he could bring up before they exited the house.

Turning to his Papa, Elliott's sadness seemed to fade in just a second.
"Hey Papa, you said you had a present for me?", he asked, eyes glinting excitedly.
The man chuckled.

"Elliott, don't be so impatient! You'll get it after dinner today, I still have to unpack and shower", he replied, a grin on his face as his son was overly excited for even the smallest of things.
