You've heard about soulmates, right? Well in this world, you have a splatter of black paint on wherever your soulmate has theirs, and you can only see in the color of their eyes, and when you get in a five food radius of them, your ears start to ring and your vision goes black for a bit.

Today, the Lady-In-Waiting, Cassandra, Princess Rapunzel, and the royal organizer for the princess, a young girl no older than 14 named (Y/n), are conversing about the princess's hair coming back.

"I think I know someone who can give us the secrets about your hair, Raps." Cassandra said. "Who?" (Y/n) asked, curiosity filling her veins. "His name is Varian-HOLY MOTHER OF SUNDROP ARE YOU OKAY, (Y/n)???" Cassandra screeched. (Y/n) was currently on the floor, her head hurting like the fire of a thousand suns. She suddenly got up completely fine, not knowing what happened. "What?" She asked, cocking her head. "You fell on the floor when I said the name V a r i a n." She spelt it out Incase something else happened. "Well, let's go meet this guy and see what's up with me falling on the floor when his name is mentioned."

~one trip to old corona later~

Cassandra lead the two young girls behind her to a small cottage. "Is this his house?" (Y/n) asked, bouncing on her toe a little. "Yep." Cassandra said dryly, popping the P. (Y/n) tugged on the door, and fell forward when she opened it, landing in a pink goo, her face perfectly fine. "Who dare- HOLY MOTHER OF ALCHEMY!" (*cough* friend me on discord, I'm AndAllThatJazz) A boy fell over. His mask falling off in the process.

A few minutes later, both the kids got up. (Y/n) looked around, she saw tons of color. Other than blues, she saw browns, and grays, and blacks, and reds. "Holy, Rapunzel, your hair is blonde, and Cass, your hair is black." She said, wide-eyed. "Yeah, it's always been- WAIT YOU CAN SEE COLOR?" Rapunzel screeched. "HOLY MOTHER OF SUNDROP! I CAN!" (Y/n) screeched back. She quickly pulled up her sleeve to see her black paint splatter gone. She turned to the boy next to her. "Your eyes, they're blue." He was staring at her. "A-and your eyes, they're (E/c) (eye color)." Suddenly the realization hit them both. "We're soulmates." They said in unison. "Hey. Guess we're soulmates. Heh. I'm (Y/n)." The girl awkwardly greeted, putting out a hand. "Varian, nice to meet you, soulmate." He took her hand and shook it. Then he kept his fuCKING HAND THERE. "Umm, Varian? What are you doing?" Rapunzel fangirled in the corner, waiting for them to kiss, while Cassandra just kept her hands ready for a slow clap

Varian leaned in and grabbed (Y/n)'s face with his gloved hand. "God the anticipation killing me! Just kiss!" Rapunzel shoved (Y/n) and Varian's faces together and made their lips connect. "Jesus mother of sundrop, Rapz!"

Long story short, Cass teased (Y/n) about already finding her soulmate until her and Varian got together, and Cass just slow clapped at their wedding.
