"Ally get up! Your'e going to be late" yelled my mom.

I looked at my clock and it was 7:50 a.m.

Shit!

I only had ten minutes to get ready. I jumped out of bed and quickly washed my face and brushed my teeth. I didn't have time to shower right now or do my makeup. I went to my closet and picked out what I first saw, jeans, a shirt and white converse. I ran out and grabbed my phone and my bag.

I ran down the stairs trying not to slip and into the kitchen. I picked up a granola bar and a bottle of orange juice before leaving out the door to my car.

Today was just my day.

I ran into school, and the hallways were empty.

I quietly speed walked to my English class. I tried to open the door quietly, key word tried. Everyone looked at me as I opened the door.

"Hello Ms.Aaliyah" said Mr.Darwin, when I walked inside.

"Hey sir, how is your day?".

"Why are you late today?".

"I woke up late today sir".

He shook his head and dismissed me to my seat. People were snickering as I walked down the isle to my desk. I kept my head down not wanting to show everyone how embarrassed I was. I sat down and Riley gave me the 'sorry' look.

Ian turns to me with a very amused look in his face.

"You look like shit" he said smirking.

I punched his arm and he shrieked in pain as people around us just laughed.
