Chapter One

You're just a little girl they speak

How dare you say you say you understand

The words float and sink in my mind.

Maybe they are right.

No. No they aren't.

Yes, I am a child

Yes, I have been through hell.

The scars they line my body and remind me well.

N0 I can't erase the taunts and the bruises

But I can remember how I stood

Tall and proud I stood

I am me and you are you.

You think I am just something on the bottom of your shoe

But you are wrong

For I am strong

No I will never change.
