Scenario: Reader is sick and dying. Nobody knows until one day she faints during training. Levi decides to declare his love for her but what will he do when Reader-Chan passes into the after life?

{Levi's Point of View}
Everything came crashing down. It all happened at once. My world crumbled from beneath my very legs. My hands shook not knowing how to climb up the hole I was now deep into. Why? Why was this happening?
It started only a few of weeks ago. I was watching as one my favorite cadets fought hand-to-hand with the others. She was dominating all the fights. She was king of the hill but than she suddenly fell off that hill. She collapsed and all she could remember was my voice calling out for her.
She hadn't told anybody. She never spoke a word about what was wrong with her. She never showed it but she... she was dying. I cried for what felt like years, hoping for a miracle but there wouldn't be one. She wouldn't live for me so one day I could ask her to marry me. She wouldn't live for us to have a family. And while that all sounds so soon, it wasn't to me or to her.
It was the first time I cried in years and she watched it all take place. I couldn't hide it anymore at that point. I couldn't hide my feelings for her and so I confessed. I confessed that I wanted her to be mine and through her own tears she whispered yes.
She knew she didn't have much time. She knew and yet she agreed to love me unconditionally from her bedside. I was there. I was there every step of the way until she died. I helped her change, walk, eat, and I always gave her a shoulder to cry on and lips to kiss. She returned every favor. She never abandoned hope despite knowing there was none. And neither did I. But sometimes, sometimes hope was never enough.
Now she was gone. Her warm pale smile, her loving embrace, and heavenly singing voice even though it was ever fading; her gentle hand, her soft hair, her fragile body... it was all just gone. Gone and it would never come back. Thinking about it all to this very day, still makes me cry. I cry my heart and soul out knowing my lover was forever gone.
And not long after her death, I found myself also wishing leave this mortal body. I found myself no longer having any attachment to this cruel world we call home. I had stopped eating. I had never left my office. I knew others worried. Hanji left food for me at the door, and Erwin had moved into HQ but no matter what... no matter what, I refused to take any breaths without feeling like it wasn't fair.
Today. Today would be the day I reunited with my lover. I would finally rejoin her. I grabbed the only thing I had left of (your name). A knife. A knife she always carried and I took it to her grave. People tried talking to me as I walked past them. They tried calling out to me and tried to help me see light again but it wouldn't work. It would never work.
I fell to my knees. I screamed as the sky cried and fell upon both myself and her grave. This was it. This was my ending. My ending here on earth. May I always be with my lover even in the afterlife.

I curled up feeling my blood drip from my body and cover the words before me. (Your name).
I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to turn into what I am today. I just couldn't handle life without you. Without your love... I was nothing. And now... now I'll die beside your grave. I'll always be by your side. When you were alive it was your bed and now it shall be your grave.
Looking up I realized I was no longer alive. Everything was bright. So bright just like her smile was. I was in an empty void. Where do I go now?
"Levi." I turned knowing the voice that called out to me was the voice I longed to hear.
There she was. Smiling and holding her hand out to me. Telling me to finally reunite with her. And of course I took her hand. Everything flashed before me. I was home. I was finally home.
"I love you, (your name)."
"I love you to, Levi. Welcome home."
