So, after writing your characters or even figuring out your characters, it is officially time to do a faceclaim. If you guys don't know what a faceclaim is, it is basically casting someone to "play" as your own character. It is basically casting your characters. If you are someone who has been using faceclaims for your stories, then you and I could agree with the fact that faceclaims are a huge struggle. But don't worry about it, let me help you out with that.

So, faceclaims are a little bit of a struggle for mainly two reasons.

The first being the age of the person you want to cast, and the second being the looks that you want your character to have.

Let's say that you want to write an original story where you have Gerard Way play as a fourteen year-old and Brendon Urie play as a sixty year-old. Okay, that idea is kind of messed up, so I suggest that you don't go with that direction. Well, unless if you want to make an AU fanfiction out of it or something like that. THE POINT IS, you need to take some thought with your faceclaims.

I suggest that you try and find someone who is of age and it would make sense to play as your OC. For example, my faceclaim for my OC Ezra Kent, I picked Ezra Miller. Yeah, it is kind of weird that they coincidently have the same name, but whatever. Anyways, the age for Ezra K. is 22, while Ezra M. is actually 25. So, it would make perfect sense if Ezra M. played as a young superhero like Ezra K. He also looks pretty young to play as a college kid, so that's a bonus.

I know that age doesn't really matter, but at least pick someone that would be suitable and appropriate for the character. For example, I chose Andrew Garfield to play as my OC Woody Clark. Even though he may not be of age anymore, I still tried to aim for the time when he played as Peter Parker in the Amazing Spider-Man movies. He looked young enough and I thought that he'd make a decent faceclaim.

But if age still matters to you, as if you are all "HE OR SHE HAS TO BE THIS AGE TO PLAY AS HIM OR HER!", then I'll give you some ideas. And remember that these are just basically my opinion on okay examples, so you don't have to follow these.
