Mate Irish Cob with Friesian flare
Unmold a Gypsy Horse
Her equine form with flowing hair
Too fabulous of course
She is the image cast in flesh
Of the gypsy heart
Of freedom lived out on the land
Mysterious, apart
With piebald hide and feathers flocked
She looks prepared to fly
A horse of beauty, grace and style
Of Romish Pegasi
Most are draw by flashy moves,
Her beauty in abundance
Belies the effort just to live
'Mid cultural redundance
Flamboyant mane of feature length
So artfully disheveled
A fashion statement born and bred
Her beauty rarely rivaled
Exotic features blur the fact
She works to pay her way
When she's in harness, duty bound
Her dance is not for play
More than just a beast to work
This piece of tinker's pride
All dolled up becomes a throne
For Gypsy princess bride
When cleaned and primped, with mane in plaits
And shiny from massage
Not just a floozy dance hall girl
She's gaited for dressage
But she shows best when off the lead
Full tilt, her flags afly
Admired from afar so far
I'll ride one by and by
