You spent your last class trying to see of Min Yoongi was in the class with you, but is just playing chameleon with you. You had some people on your list, but they all were not him. You gave up when you made eye contact with a very pale guy. You looked down at your worksheets and started to do them, frankly you were only doing them to go to sleep without your teacher bothering you. You were stuck on one question for quite some time, and without realizing you spent the rest of the class period on it. When the bell rang you didn't notice, so you continued to work on the problem without worrying. You were about to find the answer when someone stopped you by tapping your shoulder lightly.
"Um- Sam-shi, I think its time to leave" A girl with big brown eyes said with a small smile.
You looked at her and at the rest of the classroom to see that everyone had already left.
"Oh, it's time huh?" You said gathering all the papers together and standing up, to only find out that you're taller than her.
By instinct you sat back down, and stuffed the papers in your backpack to look like you didn't feel sorry for her.
"Ah it's okay of you're taller than me, almost everyone is" She says with a sad tone in her voice.
You look up to her and then look around again "Ah so it's like that" looking to the clock your face goes pale.
"Is it really that time?" You point to the clock and look at her. She only looks back at the clock and looks at you with a big smile.
"Hehe no silly that clock is WAY wrong, it's ahead by 1 hour" Still with the big smile on her face she reaches out her hand towards you.
"My name is Lilly, it's nice to meet you Sam-shi" You look at her hand and inspect it, after seeing that she has nothing on it you shake her hand and say
"Just call me Sam please"
You're walking with her down the corridor when she gets a call and says that she has to go to band practice. You say your goodbyes while exchanging numbers. You then realize that your lost at a new school with no cell reception.
"Well ain't this dandy?" You say while looking around for signs that point you in the right direction. To no avail there's none. Walking thru some doors and hallways you start to think your lost, and you really are. You hear some noises coming from a room, realizing that who ever is making that noise might be your way out of this maze called school. You open the room to find that it's a broom closet, and also you find someone that's tied up. You look at the person and see that there hands are bound together with string and their mouth has a cloth in it.
"You're in a pickle there aren't ya?" You say with 100% sarcasm in your voice. You move closer to the person to untie them when they move back, you then realize that there's fear in their eyes.
"Don't worry I'm not going to hurt you, I promise on my dead goldfishes grave" You say crossing your heart with your finger.
The person looks at you for a moment, then gets closer to you offering you his tied writs. You then quickly untie the person and step back so they can get up. Once they got the cloth out of their mouth they cleared their throat.
"Thank you, and the sarcasm wasn't needed" They say while rubbing their wrists that were red from the rope. You looked at their wrists and back up at their eyes.
"Oh I'm sorry, why were you tied up?" Your eyes wonder around looking at every single detail in their face.
"Hay, you good?" The person snapped their fingers in front of your face to get your attention.
Snapping out of the haze you look at your watch "Hay do you know where the cars are? Or where the front office is?" You said while looking at your watch.
The person looked at you with a hurt expression on their face, but then they looked down. "Yeah, this is gonna be my way to repay you cause I'm broke right now."
They said walking past you towards the opposite direction you came from. "Are you sure you know where we're going?" You say taking a few steps to the way they're going. Without looking back at you they just nod their head in a 'Yes' you looked around to see if there was anyone else around to help you, but there was no one.
Walking past a few doors, and hallways you see the fence to get out of school, but you don't run to it, instead you keep walking behind a person you had found in the closet tied up.
"That's not the way to the cars sam" They say looking back at you while pointing to where you see the cars. You look at them with a confused expression written across your face, confused cause how does this person know your name, but you don't know theirs.
"You're the new exchange student everyone knows your name, don't get full of yourself." They say turning another hallway without waiting for you to respond or even catch up.
"What does that mean" You say just realizing on what they had just said. "Hay, just cause I'm the new exchange student doesn't mean I'm full of myself!" You say turning the hallway that they had just turned, but only to find a doorway that has a name plaque that says 'CARS'.
You look around to see if they had gone outside or to see if they walked in another direction, but there was no trace of them. Looking at your watch again you see that it's gonna be 6 already. You run outside and see a driver by a car who is holding a sign that has the names "SAM & YOONGI" on a small poster.
You walk up to the driver "I'm Sam, are you Kim SeokJin?" You ask quietly for only him to hear.
"YA Don't call me Kim SeokJin, just call me Jin! I'm not that old!" Backing away from his loud voice you look at him with a 'You didn't need to scream' face.
"Oh I'm sorry Miss, I just don't like to be called by my full name. By the way where's Yoongi?" He says looking around at the school doors to see if the person called Yoongi to come out.
"The chameleon didn't show himself." You mumbled to only you think you could hear.
"The Chameleon? Are you thinking about your science homework?" Jin said looking back down at you with a confused look.
"It's nothing, can you drive me home already Jin?" You say pointing at the car, he looks at the car too and then his mouth does an 'O' shape.
"Oh I'm sorry miss, can we wait a few minuets for my nephew?" He looks at you with a pleading face you look away and back at him again.
"As long as you call me Sam and not miss" You say while leaning on the car looking at the school doors.
"Thank You Sam! AH this child need to hurry up, you both have homework to do!" Raising his voice again to make you step away from him.
The School doors open to show the person that you had helped get out of the closet, but this time he had his bag and a sweater on.
"YA! WHERE WERE YOU? AND WHY DIDN'T YOU HELP SAM FIND HER WAY HERE?" At this point you were away from Jin to where your ears were safe.
He walked up to where you and Jin were waiting "I did show her, I was just getting my stuff alright?" He said opening the passenger door and getting in.
Jin just looked you with a questioning look you just nodded knowing what he was asking.
He opened the back seat door for you, you got in with one thought in your mind, 'You the pale boy from class, you are the chameleon I ignored'
