Lisa's POV.
The day has only started yet I feel exhausted. I really hate waking up early. I've never been the early bird and never will! Why does a day have to start in the morning anyway? I want to sign a petition saying it should start by afternoon and end late in the evening.
Sighing, I started swaying my feet back and forth lightly when I noticed an old looking nun and made herself sit beside me. "Why are you here alone, Miss Manoban?" She gently asked. I couldn't help but chuckle at the formality. "Lisa should be fine." She smiled and nodded. "Okay, Lisa."
I turned my gaze towards my friends who were happily eating with the kids. "I'm reserving my energy to play with them later. I kind of feel tired, it's the ride, I guess. We had to do Seoul to Daegu." I politely informed.
Suddenly, I felt a small pat on my shoulder. "I really have no words to express how grateful we all are for your help. This means a lot, especially to those kids." I looked up and saw her smiling genuinely, and it was too contagious. "It'll always be our pleasure to help. We've been up to this since I could remember. And I love giving hope and a little sunshine to people. It helps me too, emotionally."
Silence engulfed the atmosphere until Nun Na-mi broke the silence with such a very surprising compliment. "You have such a very good heart. Your boyfriend must be so lucky to have you." I nodded and smiled widely. "He must have been... if there was one." She looked shocked.
Why is that so surprising? And why is everyone asking me about boyfriends?
"Lisa! Lisa!" The conversation was interrupted when a running Hoseok came rushing to my side. "What's with the hurry? Is there an emergency?" I asked out of worry. He desperately shook his head and pointed somewhere. "Look at that drama. I told you something was fishy!" I briefly apologized to Nun Na-mi and dragged Hoseok away.
Why is he so nosy?
I followed where was his finger pointing and saw Taehyung and Jisoo playing—okay, let's be real here, it's more of flirting. They were placing the icing on each other's faces and were running around. I was about to ask where's the drama in there when my eyes caught Namjoon who were sending them deadly glares.
Well, what a scene.
That was not surprising though, if I would be honest. I have always noticed something between the three. It's like Namjoon and Taehyung are so into Jisoo, and the chicken monster has no idea at all. It might be because she doesn't want to give extra meaning to things to not complicate them, or she's just being stupid.
The latter is more likely to be the typical Jisoo though.
I sat down on the grass field and lied down carefully. "We've always known, let them sort that out themselves. They're old enough." Hoseok copied by position. "Wow, you sounded like a seventy-year-old grandma." He teased.
Doesn't he get tired of bickering?
The tension faded when I felt my phone vibrating. It's Dad. "Yes, Dad? Did you arrive safely?" I heard him hum. "Yes, Lisa. I hope you're enjoying too." Absentmindedly, I nodded as if he could see me. "Yeah, I mean, of course. So, how is she?" Finally, I got to drag that out of my mouth. "Your cousin? She has not uttered a single word yet since we came-"
