PREFACE

She hurriedly rapped it up.
It looked beautiful already, but it was never gonna be enough- never gonna be enough for the beauty that that person gave into her life.

This gift meant a lot to her- and she knows that it'll mean a lot to both of them soon after this person gets it.

She looked at the clock- an hour from now it'll be this person's birthday. She had to hurry, she has to be there on time.

The girl ran to her bike as she pushed the gift into her bag. It was very cold, but deep inside she felt warm.She felt warm because she has never been so sure of how she felt- she has never been so confident of herself, and she has never been so in love. The mere thought of the moments they shared brought warmth not only to her shivering self, but deep inside her heart as well. This person melted her- and that is one of the many reasons why she is in love.

As she ran the bike to the wet road, she smiled to herself while thinking of the person. She WAS scared to fall harder for this person- her thoughts and her heart were both blinded by fear, doubt, and confusion. She was pushing this person away.

But the sky that was once cloudy and dark- her mind and heart is now crystal clear. Her masked feelings cannot disguise or hide itself anymore. She's letting everything go, and she will now be true to herself. She doesn't care anymore- about what her family would think, about the world- and about when, why, and... how they fell for each other.

The only thing she cares about is who- and how the both of them feel for each other.

She drove the bike faster. Her heart pounded faster as she thought of this person and how the both of them were madly in love with each other from the start. She regretted being hesitant and doubtful of what or how she felt.

Of all the wrong decisions she had made, this was and will always be the first and right decision she had decided on.

This person brought a better side of her, and that is another reason why she is in love.


She brushed the hair off of her face and widened her smile.

"This night will be the start of you and me."

Chapter One - Jessica and Yuri

Jessica groaned as the sunlight pulled her away from dreamland. She blinked several times and sunk deeper onto her pillows. She closed her eyes once more, trying to recall the dream she had.

She was drowning. The waters kept pulling her, kept acting against her own will. She couldn't scream; no one could hear her. Her brown hair covered her pale face as she hung on to dear life. She closed her eyes-- but suddenly...

A strong grip woke her up; the grip pulled and saved her from the tentacles of the waters. She regained consciousness while riding a yellow rubber boat. She was saved.

Jessica sighed forcefully and jumped off her bed. The daylight illuminated her room but not her. She was ,somehow, still feeling melancholic-- like last night, every night rather.

Jessica is a college student in a nearby university. This wasn't just any other university-- but it is the best and most expensive slash high class slash prestigious school around the city. Her parents are company owners, and this was more than enough to meet Jessica's financial needs. But still, Jessica chose to live away from home (despite being pampered by her parents since she was young, and somehow being dependent). She thought that living with her parents and away from them are no different, since she'd still be lonely for they're always busy working. Also, living away from them would make her independent, and she would be free to do whatever she wants.

Jessica as a person is cold in the outside. Boys drool over Jessica's mysterious and sexy image, and her strict-hard to get charisma has always made them want more interested. Still, Jessica labeled herself to be 'for your eyes only'. Her image is a rich, famous, confident and reserved person who can be cold and arrogant at FIRST glance...

For Jessica, she may be the above said in the outside. But deep inside she knows that if that special person comes, that person will be the one to melt her down. This is her weak point-- love is her weak point. Romantic and warm people get her easily, and she's vulnerable to them. She is waiting for this special someone since she knows that that person will be able to dig out the real Jessica. She'll be true to this person once they meet-- she'll be warm, passionate, sweet, cheerful, open, and lovable-- she'll show the real Jessica to this person-- Only to this person. She will save the true Jessica for this person alone.

Jessica (almost) has everything that a person would want or need: from looks, intelligence, popularity, friends, money and a good school. But for Jessica, something IMPORTANT is missing-- this important thing took a very big part of her-- a very big part of her HEART and her whole-being---thus, making her incomplete and unhappy at some point for a reason she can't fully understand.

The only problem is-- that she doesn't know what she's missing in the first place.
