Vampires exist to the African people,because they are a class of people who are able to defy death and exert a malignant influence from the grave. African vampires were often people who died in defiance of a community or from suicide. There are many different type of vampires within African folklore.
Let start on our first vampire.
Vampires are know as undead creatures but this particular vampire is a living vampire found mostly in West Africa and it can either be male or female .The folklore mostly surrounds the Ashanti people, the Dahomey people refer to the same creature as Asiman. In some legend, the obayifo had the power to leave it's body and travel to it victim's body in the form of a big ball of light. scary right ? Yes I know,while others say that this creature stayed in human form but a bright green light emitted from its ass and armpits ,which makes it easy to identify, (but seriously this sounds gross, It must have look like hulk at that time .)
It favorite meal is said to be fresh blood mostly children's blood but it also drank the sap and vitals juices in crops,causing horrible blights,they can also enter body of animals to attack human.
