It was 5:00 am and my papa was up cooking eggs and bacon. I loved his home cooked eggs but I miss how my mom cooked them.( Ok before I get any farther into the book I just for to explain who lives in this house there is papa and grandma the twins hunter and luke 15 yr old then there is my sister alex short for alexa 17 yr old and then there is me dakota 16 yr old if you want pictures go to cast) .Somehow my alarm clock was set to 5:00 instead of 7:00 .so I went to ask papa .but on the way down the hall I ran into 1 of the twins hunter.'

( ok you are most likely asking what is she talking about. there is this thing where the military kids get together for a week and train.and then at the end of the week you have a contest for fun it's like a week camp).

I ran back in the my bed room to slip into my bell bottoms and one of my cowgirl shirts and grab my bag.It doesn't really matter what you wear they give a military suite when you get to the base. He works at a military base in fort lenerhood. well I beat hunter getting dressed .I ran into the kitchen .

" Hold your horses "papa said (he was a Hansome looking guy 6'7 ft tall with a mustache that stretched from his nose to lip). I loves the way he spoke in a deep voice .

"Good morning there is some black coffee in the coffee pot and the bacon and eggs will be ready in a second" he said.

I gave him a thumbs up and went to get my black coffee Right as hunter entered the kitchen. he Is about 6'3 ft and about 120 pounds and eats o lot .anyway papa said "morning squirt ".

I got myself a cup of Coffee and stepped out on the front porch. the misty air felt so nice as it nipped at my bear feet .right then papa whisped out the door "breakfast is ready". I ran inside. It was the beginning of summer and I couldn't wait for what was in store for the next 7 days.
