Begining of camp

I HOPE Y'ALL LIKE MY NEW CHAPTER IT'S A LITTLE LONGER THEN THE LAST ONE PLEASE COMENT so I can fix mistakes and know how you like it. HOPE you ALL ENJOY

I was so excited I couldn't eat.So I went and brushed my brown hair out.( The reason the other twin luke and and alexa didn't come they were on a hunting expadition don't ask me where BUT they got A GRANT they will be back wensday) when we got there there were tons of kids.

I was so excited to start. As we got off bus my heart skipped.

"Two lines" a man yelled through a magaphone. We all lined up girl in one side boys on the other.

"very good!" He must like hurting people ears. We were right next to him. "My name is sergeant agustas!! Now before we start the barracks at on your right and left!! Boys on the right girls on the left!! The rules are no braking the rules 2 rule no swimming by your self you have 2 have a counselor there that has passed the swimming test................. Ok as I call out you name I want you to step up you will meet your partner! ! Then come up to the desk get signed in and then report back to the desk!!"

"Sir yes sir!!" echoed throughout the yard.

"Alright then" sarg. Agustas. Started naming off random names.

"Dakota Collin and Tyler smoot " he yelled finally

I Yelled" here " like every one else did

"Tyler that's a pretty boy name but a girl" I though

Little did I know I was partnered with a boy
Well I followed orders and returned to his desk
He had nicely cut hair and was about 5'9ft

When we got to the desk the sergeant said" o yes the only girl and boy team .well I doubt you 2 will make it past the first challenge

As we walked out of ear range I whisperd " well he's a good sport"

"Hi I am takota and you " I said holding out my hand

"Hi I am Tyler" he said reaching for my hand" takota
That's a pretty name

"Thanks "I replied

(Hunter teamed with a guy named Justin) .Well the first thing was an relay obstical course.I know you are wondering if Tyler can run!! Yup !!!!!!!!!!! Like a Jack rabbit.( And he has a German Shepard dog just like me .mine is named drago.and his is named named J.C short for jim corbet I love jim corbet books well back to the subject) the second course was a swimming course you have too carry 10 lb backpack on your back while swimming. We made it in 45 sec it was tough though. We still made it .After that course some kids were complaining so the sargent said stay here and take a 10 minute break. Then he left . We sat and talked about our parents. his mom died when he was young from a disease. I told him about my parents died when I was 7 . Then exactly 10 minutes later solders came out with duffle bags the sergeant called us to attention then made us close our eyes . Then soaked us with water balloons!!!!!!!!!!!! . It didn't take them 5 minutes to soak everyone of us except me and Tyler . Then (can you guess what was next )when I was dogging balloons out of nowhere a 150 lb kid lands on me ( ok maybey 120 lb but still it was heavy when wet ) I turned to see a kids face covered in mud I scrapped it off my face and so he did his eyes and can you guess who it was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TYLER

"Um hi" I said trying to be as sweet as possible

"Hi "he said back( still sitting on top of me )" I am so sorry did I hurt you "( he was blushing even under the mud lol)right then he rememberd he was sitting on me he jumped up off of me and held out his hand

he looked cute with mud on his face I thought ( What am I saying ) nevermind

" Nah" I said. I lied .(I scrapped my back on a rock or something)

"Are you sure" he said noticing the little bit of blood dripping from my shirt .

"I don't mind it " I lied again( now I don't lie at all at home but you can't tell someone they hurt you)

"Why don't you go to the nurses" he suggested

"Nah I don't want to miss lunch" i said

Still concerned he said "you sure are stubborn"

Laughing I said "you should see me at home "

Lunch we just went with mud on us .most kids changed tho.city things. O well we sat down with papa and squirrel. "

"Hi" I said to them"this is my partner Tyler smoot "papa burst out laughing I said "papa why are you laughing I know I am covered in mud I slipped "I glared at Tyler.he looked confused

When papa stoped laughing he asked " Tyler smoot does that sound familiar??? "

I thought for a second then started at squirrel I looked at his suit it said corporal squirrel smoot .

Then I caught on and said loudly " you are squirrel's son Tyler smoot " I smacked my head " you live right across from us how come........... "

I was interrupted by papa who said "we can talk about it later right now we better eat"

I sat down by papa and Tyler by squirrel.

Tyler was still speachless

"I have to go get a drink" I said getting up

"Me too "Tyler said his voice was coming back now

When we reached where you get your drink I pulled Tyler aside" how come we didn't tell each other this earler"

"I don't know" he said "well we know now "

"We went back to the table are you ok Tyler " asked squirrel

"I'm fine " he answed "just surprised "

After lunch they taught us military commands. that was really fun and took like 3 hours and then they taught us how to march. That took an 1 hr and a half at 4:30 we had time off until supper at 6:30 so I wanted to practise running with some other girls. Tyler went with some boys somewhere. After running I went for a walk by the lake. It was only 5:00 when I finished my walk .so I asked if anyone wanted to swim no one did they were tired of all that swimming this morning. I can't go by myself so I went to find hunter . I found him in the dog unit .

"What's up "he said

"Nothing much" I answered "you"?

"Just watching the dogs"he said " I have to tell you something "he pulled me behind the corner "guess what" before I could answer he said "I think some one likes you "

To astonished to say anything I nodded and mouthed "who"

"I am not going to tell "

" What" I whispered loudly and shoulder punched him " Now that you have told me that you have to say"

He grinned and walked back to the dogs

I followed him and we talked he came in 15th in the swimming contest

"You and your partner won 5th" he said sadley

I was so startled I was speechless again but not for long

"We beat you uhuh uhuh and like it ahuh ahuh"

I couldn't wait to tell Tyler

It was 6:15 so we had to go back to our barracks to get dressed I said good by and left

Still wondering if he was joking or some one actually likes me i wondered who.
