"Don't call me a liar!" Was the first thing Colby said when Brennen picked up. "Why would I lie to you??"

"So that I don't get worried. Which is not working because the more you lie the more I worry."

"I'm not lying Brennen!"

"Bullshit. Tell me the truth."

"I am telling you the truth!" Colby sighed, "Brennen can you please trust me? It's nothing to worry about! Don't you think I would be upset if something wrong happened?"

Brennen frowned. "You clearly are upset."

"At the lack of trust you have in me!" He admitted, getting up and walking through an exit with his phone in hand. The sunlight hit his blue eyes perfectly and the emotions behind them became more clear to Brennen. "What can I do to make you not angry with me anymore?"

"Swear on your life you're telling me the truth." Brennen requested.

Colby sighed and looked at the screen. "I swear on everything."
The older simply nodded his head. Colby pouted, feeling his heart grow heavier. "I'm really sorry Brennen. I didn't mean to make you upset. I would never lie to you..."

Brennen could hear his voice grow quieter. He looked at the screen to see Colby's distracted eyes shining with tears. "W-wait why are you crying?"
The brunette looked completely terrified at whatever was going through his head. His gaze was somewhere over his phone. Brennen frowned and called out to him, "Colby?"
