8 months 2 weeks pregnant, a baby was born in the back of a taxi. She was the cutest little baby girl; big blue eyes like the ocean, strawberry red lips, soft curly hazel hair positioned perfectly around her tiny peach face, contrasting against her rosy cheeks. Smiling up at her exhausted mum as everything came crashing down from the impact of the car crash caused by the drunk driver of the taxi, also known as the new borns dad. Apprehensivlely the new dad deserted his family in a panic. Leaving his partner trapped in the vehicle unable to get help for her bleeding wounds. The only thing that kept her going long enough for the ambulance to arrive was her beautiful baby girl Beverly. Beverly got this name as she was born whilst driving through Beverly Hills. After the paramedics found Beverly and her mum, Beverly was transferred to a different hospital to her mum as she was premature and in need of better treatment. Soon enough Beverly was healthy enough to go home, the doctors where unable to track down any relatives of the baby. So Beverly was transmitted to an orphanage until she was 9 months old and adopted by the Johnson family, consisting of a mum, a dad, a 17 year old boy and a 5 year old little girl. Beverly's original last name was Thompson, however Mr and Mrs Johnson want Beverly to feel apart of there family and Mr Johnson did not want his new little baby to know she was adopted, so they changed her name to Beverly Johnson. The reason behind Mr Johnson not wanting  Beverly to find out she is adopted is because him and his wife can no longer have children due to his sperm count. This causes tension between the couple as Mrs Johnson dreamed of having 6 or more children. Therefore Mr Johnson feels guilty and wants to make an adopted child feel like there own. Beverly is growing fast and is now one week away from being 1 year old. Beverly's new family are very happy to have her join their family, their 5 year old (Emily) is especially overjoyed as her big brother Zac will be leaving for the army soon. Unfortunately, Emily's happiness soon fades by one knock at the door...
