I awaken to the sudden jolt of my brother pushing me off his lap and onto the floor. "What the hell Logan?" I yelled rubbing my head where it hit the floor. "Emily just texted me I gotta go" He said well getting off the couch. "Wait what? I thought you already went out with her. Wait what time is it?" I asked super confused. "It's 1:30" Logan said well leaving out of the front door. I grabbed my phone and saw three messages from Ned
"Hey so I was thinking like 1:40"
"we could meet up at your house."
"I do have my friend over though I hope that's no big deal"
After reading Ned's messages I quickly run up the steps and get ready for him to come over. I put on a pain of black skinny jeans and a tight white long sleeve shirt white some black sneakers. I wrap my hair up in a cute messy but and look in the mirror. "Jesus girl you need some makeup" I said to myself as I applied some foundation to my face. Halfway through my makeup I here the door bell ring. I quickly apply the last bit of makeup I need and run down the steps. I open the door to see Ned standing there.
"Hey come on in" I say as he takes a step in. As Ned walks in a short kid appears behind him. It was peter. " hi peter" I said well giving him a nice smile. He looked so nervous. I motioned for him to come in and he went and stood next to Ned.
"So uhh what do you guys wanna do?" I asked going to the fridge to fetch some snacks for the guest.
"How about we watch a movie. Peter and I like scary movies if you're into that"Ned said.
"That sounds like a great idea. Let me just go set up a movie. Do you one of you mind popping this popcorn?" I asked handing out a bang of unpopped popcorn.
"Not a problem" Ned said well grabbing it and handing it to peter.
"Thanks! I'll be right back please help yourself to anything in the fridge if you guys want anything else to eat or drink."
I ran down to the basement and into the movie room. I set everything up to watch The shining. After it was all set I ran back up stairs and saw the boys sitting down at the table just waiting. Alright boys come with me. I brought them down to the room and we set out all of our food. Popcorn,chips,dip,and 3 Coca-Cola's.
"Ohhhh the shining I love this movie!" Peter said.
That was the first thing he had said since he had gotten here. I've always wondered about him. He'd always been so shy and quiet I would love to know what the really peter is like ya know.
*bzz bzz*
I picked up my phone and saw a text from my and from Logan.
Mom-"hi sweetheart I had to step out and go to work again I'll be home late. I left some money on the table for you and your brother to order food for dinner"
Logan-"I won't be home tonight I'm staying at Emily's house. DO NOT TELL MOM!"
I put my phone down and focused back on the movie.
Time had passed and the movie had just ended. "Uhhh That was great!" Said Ned.
"Yeah thanks" peter said giving a small smile.
"No problem guys! If you two want you are more than welcome to stay for dinner. My mom won't be home until late and my brother is at his girlfriends house"
"Oh well I'm down if you are?" Ned said looking at peter.
"Sure" He said
"Alrighty lets go upstairs. I'll order some pizza and we can play a game or something" I said well grabbing the trash and going back up to the kitchen.
We all get back to the kitchen and I grab the phone and place an order for 3 large pizzas. As I'm on the phone peter become alert. His head pops up in concern and he looks towards the door.
"Peter what's wro-" Ned started but peter cut him off "I've gotta go" He said well grabbing his bag he left near the door and bolting.
After I was done on the phone I looked at Ned
"Uhhh what's up with him? Is he alright?"
"Uhh I guess so. He's been doing that often. He'll kinda just get up and bolt for an exit. He's been sneaking out a lot too and his aunt is becoming very concerned. She ask me all the time if I know where he's going but I never do"ned said well sitting at the table.
"Really? He doesn't seem like that type of guy. He's very quiet and shy so I guess I just never seem him as one to just get up and leave with nothing to back he s actions up"
"Yeah peter is very quiet especially around girls. He's never been a lady's man he's more kiddish" Ned said well laughing. A but of time went by and the pizza came but peter didn't. I was nervous. I hoped he was ok.
Ned and I sat and talked about everything. He was really becoming a good friend of mine. Time passed by and we were stuffed. Ned decided to go home and try and see if he could get ahold of peter. When Ned left I went to the couch and plopped myself down. I grabbed the tv remote and clicked it on.
" reports of the Spider-Man have been see again. A young child had be. Hanging on the edge of a bridge when a car had went over. Reports say the Spider-Man has came in within seconds and saved the young child's life. What do you think of the Spider-Man?" I clicked the channel and went to family guy. I watched that for a couple hours and that's when I got a text from a random number. "Hey dumbo I hope your summer sucks just as much as you" I didn't know who it was so I replied with "who is it?" I was nervous. "Who do you think fry face?" Of course it's her. Sometimes I wonder how she does it. I would love to know where she gets all this info from. I would also like to know why she doesn't like me. I will never ask her though. I put my phone down trying to avoid the feelings that were about to swarm my mind. As I did my mind wen in to think about peter. I hope he's ok. I just wanna know what he had to leave for. I just hope everything is ok with him.
