Overview: Jared has a major panic attack and needs his boyfriend to comfort him. It eventually turns to fluffy comfort.
Triggers: He tried to hurt himself at some point so self harm.

Jared looked around at the theme park, narrowing his eyes. Him and Connor were at Disney, magic kingdom. They both loved amusement parks like this except this one had a lot of noise and even more people speaking all different languages.

At first Jared was doing fine. He was actually enjoying himself but eventually he had started to get a bit overwhelmed. Connor didn't notice since his boyfriend was doing such a fantastic job at hiding it from him. Jared was good at hiding things.

Something did give it away though, Jared was hiding. He would step behind Connor whenever they saw a character because he couldn't deal with talking to anyone. He felt like he was going to throw up and now he couldn't voice what was going on even if he wanted to.

"Jare." Connor said suddenly. He grabbed his boyfriend's hand and took him to a pretty secluded area by a water fountain in liberty square. "What's wrong? You aren't talking," he said.

Jared broke down. Right there in Disney. He started to sob and struggle to breathe. He honestly didn't want to make a scene but that just made his panic attack much worse. He was mumbling in French to Connor, trying to get something through.

Jared's mom had talked to him in French almost all his life. He was bilingual and often had to switch to French when he was panicking or very angry. Connor had heard the angry French before, it's slightly scary.

Connor looked around and spotted a scrawny worker who had a nametag that stated he spoke fluent French. He grabbed the worker and brought him to Jared who was now sitting on the ground, his whole body shaking.

The worker kneeled down and kept his hands away from Jared. "Je m'appelle Jeremy. Je suis juste là pour t'aider. Pouvez-vous me dire ce qui ne va pas?" He said. He was just asking the boy what was wrong.

Jared was beyond relieved to be talked to in French. It was reassuring. "Dis à Connor que c'est une attaque de panique. Il sait quoi faire." he rushed. He wanted Jeremy to tell Connor it was a panic attack.

Jeremy turned around and stood up. "He's having a panic attack. He said you know what to do." He explained before running off to find transportation to the hotel for them.

Connor kneeled down in front of Jared and got the other's backpack. He got out his noise cancelling headphones and put them on, clicking on some music. He also put some spearmint gum in his boyfriend's mouth since Jared liked to taste things when he was panicking.

He was well equipped.

Jared was struggling to try and get his glasses off so Connor took them off for him and stroked his hair. The panicked boy put his hands over his headphones to try and keep in the music. He took his knees to his chest and put his head between said knees.

"Get them away from me." Jared muttered suddenly.

Connor looked up and realized that people were crowding them. He waved his hands away to tell them to leave because Jared really didn't need that at the moment.

Thankfully Jermey slipped through the mass of people. He kneeled down beside Connor and looked at Jared. "I got a private bus." He stated.

Jared refused to get up alone so Connor and Jeremy had to hold him up and walk him to the bus. They sat him in the back of the bus and Jeremy left so he could go back to work.

Connor sat beside him and kept a close eye on him. Jared was getting seemingly calmer which was obviously a good sign. As previously seen, he was speaking English again. He was also letting people touch him which was a crazy step.

The one thing that Connor was oblivious to was the cresents appearing deep into Jared's palms. His dull nails were pressed deep into the soft flesh, some blood managing to bubble from one of the deeper cresents.

Jared felt the blood trickle down his hand so he made the stupid mistake of bringing his hand up to examine the said damage. That's when Connor saw. Oh shit.

Connor grabbed both of his boyfriend's wrists, forcing his nails out of his skin. He used one hand to slide Jared's headphones down which made the poor boy immediately stiffen up.

"Sorry! I'm sorry!" He said quickly. He thought Connor was upset with him for hurting himself. He didn't want anyone to be upset with him.

Connor shook his head and pulled Jared to his chest. "Breathe, J, breathe. I'm not angry. I just don't want to see you hurt." He assured.

The bus pulled up at their hotel and the driver looked at them expectingly. He wanted them to get off but Connor wasn't sure how into the lobby atmosphere Jared would be.

Jared had put his headphones back on while Connor was worrying. He didn't want them off. He didn't know why Connor had to take them off. It made Jared feel vulnerable. That was his least favorite feeling if he was being honest.

He realized that Connor was talking to him after a moment. Jared tried to read his lips but he couldn't. Now he got why his boyfriend took the headphone off. But, at the moment, Jared wanted to hear Chris Garneau much more than he wanted to listen to whatever his boyfriend was telling him. That sounded harsh but that's not what he meant.

Jared didn't have to guess much longer because his boyfriend was grabbing a hold of his arm and leading him off of the bus. "Connor, arrête de me toucher." He mumbled. He didn't like being touched at the moment.

Connor realized that they had just declined in their progress. He'd heard this phrase enough to know that Jared was telling him to stop touching him. But Connor couldn't leave the poor thing in the middle of the lobby.

So, he pretended to not understand Jared and he just dragged him to the elevators. The whole time Jared was muttering frantically.

And then they were in their room.

Jared felt 100 times calmer here. Him and Connor had the big bed and Evan had the pull out bed. Zoe and Alana were in the room next to them and they had a bed of their own. Obviously all of them were still in the park.

Jared sat on the big bed and took his headphones off. "Connie...lay with me." He mumbled. He never called Connor that, really. It was just a nervous thing.

Connor did lay with Jared, the smaller curled to his chest. "Ready to tell me what happened, baby?" He asked, putting the headphones on the nightstand with his free hand. He didn't want Jared to accidentally lay on them.

Jared looked up slightly and nodded. "So...so many people. So many voices. I needed a break." He explained.

Connor was mentally kicking himself for not realizing that Jared had needed a break away from everyone. He should have known that and he was mad that he didn't.

His thoughts were cut short by his boyfriend shaking his head. "Don't worry. I still love you lots and lots." He smiled. He curled tighter to Connor and closed his eyes.

"I love you lots and lots too." Connor smiled, pecking Jared's hair. Just like that the shorter was off to sleep. Panic took a lot out of him.
