Alona releases a long exhale as Scott shows up at her side with an anticipating look, watching her patiently as she took the things she needed for the day. She rolls her eyes and turns to him with a bored expression, "What?"

"I believe we haven't introduced ourselves to each other properly. I'm Scott." He offers his hand for her to shake and she reluctantly takes it. "And you're Alona, i know that already. Nice to meet you, Alona."

"Hope i could say the same thing to you." Alona gives him a sarcastic smile and turns her back at him, on her way to first period. He casually falls into step beside her, like it was something they do everyday and Alona groans, ignoring him.

He doesn't seem to mind the silence, though, only taking it as a chance to talk about the things that has been happening to Liberty while she was gone.

She sits on the chair she sat on yesterday and expected Scott to go away but much to her dismay, he was still there towering over her. Scott nudges the boy sitting next to her and wore the same asshole-y expression some baseball players wears to get what they want, the 'i'm an athlete, i own the school' look. He speaks, "Hey, I want to sit here, let's switch."

Alona opens her mouth to tell the boy to stay but he was already dashing away in fear. She buries her face on her palms and muttered cusses quietly to herself because from then on, she knew it was starting to become a little hard for her to ignore Scott.

Alona hears the bell and she sighs, walking gradually to the room where special skills class was held. A class Mr. Porter assigned her into without taking her no as an answer, saying that it was important for her to attend that class because of her pre-juvie days wherein she got into a few incidents with the school here and there.

She enters and Mr. Porter greets her eagerly, ushering her to sit wherever she pleases. She sits beside a boy with his head buried in his notebook, drawing focusedly on it with a ballpoint ball. "Hey Cyrus, long time no see."

He looks up sharply and a smile broke into his lips, "Alona! I didn't get the chance to see you yesterday. I see that Porter dragged you here too, which I'm guessing was forcing instead of encouraging?"

Alona purses her lips and shakes her head, "Yep, you got that right, Cy."

"Fuck this school. Ever since that Hannah Baker died and her parents started suing, they start acting like they actually care." Cyrus scoffs in disbelief. "Hangout later during lunch at the library or what?"

"As of now, I'll pass. Sheri's coming back today."

"Sheri? You two aren't friends, you don't have that much thing alike. She's that perky cheerleader, right?"

"Well, right now, we are. We became friends inside that cell, she's not the same happy go lucky girl anymore."

Sheri and Alona walk through the fields of Liberty High, watching the cheerleading team fire up their practices with new steps. Sheri nods her head at the blonde girl, "Who's that? She the new cheerleading captain?"

Alona squints her eyes at the girl and shrugged, "Don't know, don't care. All I know is she's Bryce's girlfriend."

"Damn that fucking rapist, Bolan and his dad's connections still protecting his ass. I look forward to the day he gets sent to jail and pay for what he's done." Sheri spits, her eyes trained to Bryce Walker at the other side of the field, practicing his hits.

Alona's eyes examine the baseball boys and watch Zach's perfectly shaped ass pointedly with amusement. That is, until, her peace was disrupted by a guy named Scott Reed, who always seemed to show up wherever she went.

"Hey! Alona!"

The two girls looked over where the voice came from and saw him a few feet away from Bryce. He raises his hand up in the air and waves eagerly with a grin. He places his hands by his mouth and yelled, "You still owe me! I haven't forgotten about that yet."

Alona flips him off, causing his teammates to laugh and make fun of him. Sheri smirks and shoots her a knowing look that quietly demands her to spill.

"What was that about? Who is he? He looks fine, he's like a thousand feet away from us but I could clearly see how handcrafted he is by the gods themselves," then her face crumpled with abhorrence. "but he's friends with that piece of shit, which is a huge downer."

Alona rolls her eyes and tugs Sheri, "Yeah, he's hot but he's one of those dumb cronies of Bryce's so he's cancelled."
