"WHEN THE BAT IS THICK, THE LONGER IS HIS DICK!"
——————The baseball event was held outside by the field. The parents of the baseball players roamed around the perimeter, looking for their child with a proud smile of their own. But this time, there were other people on the sidelines with their very own spiteful expression as their voices demanded to be heard, placards that pleads justice for Hannah Baker.
Alona found Scott by the entrance with a grimace, his pale blue eyes watching the rally. She pecks him on the cheek with a grin, "Hey."
"Hey." Scott's mood visibly changed from a shadow clouding his features to a happy one. He snaked his hands on her waist and leaned in for a kiss. When he pulled away, he furrowed his eyebrows, "Did you... smoke?"
Alona shot him a sheepish smile, ducking her head in embarrasment. "Do I taste like cigarettes? Sorry. I forgot to pop in a spearmint before I got here. I couldn't find one."
"I thought you said you don't smoke anymore." Scott noted with a frown.
"Really, I don't. Not anymore. I just needed something to feel relieved awhile ago. You know about the tapes coming out right?"
"I know. But you should've atleast told me. I could've smoked with you so you wouldn't be alone." Scott pouted adorably. Alona puts a hand on his cheek and patted it lightly.
"It's all good. I wasn't alone. I was with Justin."
"Justin?" He asks warily, stiffening just the slightest. "Why were you with Justin?"
"He needed a smoke. I figured he needed someone to come with so.." Alona shrugged, seeing the way he narrowed his eyes in suspicion and jealousy. "What?"
UScott shrugged nonchalantly, too nonchalant but his face says otherwise judging from the unreadable expression on it. His eyes darts everywhere as he stambled, "Err... he hasn't said anything about me or anyone, has he?"
Alona cocked her head in the side skeptically, eyeing him. "About what?"
"Nothing. I don't know, i guess. Maybe something a story he fabricated." Scott smiled uneasily before advicing, "Listen. I'm not quite comfortable with you and Justin hanging out."
"Possessive much?" Alona points out and he huffed. She lets out a giggle before capturing his lips with hers for another kiss. "Justin and I are friends okay? Just because you think something's going on doesn't mean there is. Please, don't be like those nasty boyfriends who keeps me from hanging out to my guy friends. I don't want to be tied down like that."
"I know. I'm not saying there is, I'm just taking a precaution. I'm not like those guys. I'm just... worried." Scott stressed, scrunching his face up flustered under the sun. "I don't think you know this but although you scare other guys off with your attitude or shooting a look of your resting bitch face, you're still gorgeous. Guys would still gladly fall on your feet if you bat an eyelash in their direction. There's a battalion of guys who would be glad to have you and I wouldn't want to miss my chance. I'm just worried of some other guy whisking you away from me."
