Remus Lupin Love Story

Chapter 8

This chapter takes place a week before the end of the year. The next chapter will be the last day of school and before they take the train on last day. 

Emily's POV

Jase and I have been getting closer and closer over the school year, which I guess is good since I'll be staying with him for the school holidays. Lily and I haven't talked much since I became closer with Jase I don't understand why she doesn't like her twin brother. What did he do to her to make her hate him? Anyways I have you meet my friends in the Great Hall because it is almost breakfast.

Time Skip to The Great Hall

"Morning everyone," I say as I go to sit down next to Lily "Moring Em" they chorus back. I start a conversation with the Marauders by saying "So boys this is the last week of school I'll be waiting for you to come and ask me for help with charms," after I said that all the boys acted offended. We finished breakfast chatting and joking around and for once Lily wasn't yelling at James I will speak to her about that later.

Time Skip to DADA

"Ok class today we will learn the Patronus charm, so stand in pairs and think of your happiest memory and say the incantation expecto patronum." Remus and I stand in front of each other and next to us stand Sirius and James we all have a confident smirk plastered on our lips, we already know what our patronuses are from becoming animagi 3 years ago. We count down from 3 together and cast our patronuses at the same time, 3 different animals come running out of our wands at the same time. 2 wolves, 1 stag, and 1 large dog run around the DADA classroom together. I look at my Patronus oddly it wasn't a wolf before only Remus' was a wolf, it must have changed in the years that have gone by. Professor Miller comes up to me and Remus after class and asks us if we knew that our patronuses were the same I replied by saying "my Patronus has changed Professor it was a dolphin before and now it is a wolf" "Miss Green I think yours have changed maybe for 2 reasons the first being your condition and the second may be different feeling towards Mr. Lupin." At this Remus and I start laughing, we have always been really close friends, I'm closer with Remus than any of the other Marauders. 

Time Skip to Lunch

At lunch, I sat with Jase at the Ravenclaw table, we chatted about tests and books we like reading.  After lunch, Jase and I split ways him going to Transfiguration and me going to Charms.

Remus' POV of Lunch

At lunch, the boys Lily and I sat down Emily came past us and said hi and continued on her way to the Ravenclaw table to sit with Lily's brother Jason or Jase as she calls him. I look over at the Ravenclaw table and saw Jason and Emily talking and joking and, I got this weird feeling in my stomach and I felt like Emily should be laughing over here with us instead of with Jason. The boys and Lily had started a conversation while I was thinking about Emily. "So Remus, finally finished staring at Emily?" Sirius asks me jokingly I don't reply I just reach over the table and slap his arm since there was a girl attached to his arm she got hit also; after I accidentally hit her she glared at me then whispered something in Sirius' ear after she finished talking her and Sirus stood up and Sirius said 'bye guys see you in class, Eve and I have to talk about something'.

Sirius' POV

Moony hit me and he got Eve's arm also accidentally. Eve glared at Moony and leaned closer to my ear and whisper 'Sirius we need to talk' I nodded at her once, I stood up and said bye to the guys and walked out with Eve. Once we were outside of the Great Hall she said with a frown "Sirius I can't be with you anymore if your friends are going to hit me and glare at me and hurt my feelings" "you know what if you don't want my friends to hurt your feelings than leave. My friends aren't the ones hurting you, you're the one hurting them. You're the one who keeps glaring at them and they've told me what you've in classes when I wasn't there, so we are done." "But bu-" "No I said we're done". Then I walked back into the Great Hall to go and sit down with the boys again and Eve walked off to herbology.  

Times Skip to The End of The Day

Emily's POV

What is wrong with the teachers giving us homework over the summer? I wonder how many don't do the work, anyways I'm going to try and get some of it done before the holidays because I want to spend as much time with Jase and Lily as possible. Speaking of Lily she just walked through the portrait hole with the rest of the Marauders. "Oy Splash we need you in Marauder HQ now." If you don't speak Marauder I'll translate 'oy Emily we need you in our dorm room now'. I get up and follow them up to their dorm. "Alright, so Remus and Emily I think you both have things to say?" says James as he closes the door. "Yes, actually I have something to ask" I start "what is up with you and Lily?" "She started hanging more after you started eating lunch with Jason".  Then I remembered something Jase saying that there was someone looking at us while we were talking. "Oh another thing Jase and I saw someone looking at us while we were eating and talking at lunch" 

Sirius' POV 

All 4 of us boys looked around awkwardly then I think it clicked in her mind that it was us watching her, "oh so you lot were watching me until I left" "yeah it was us" I answered still feeling awkward. We just continued chatting like normal until I suggested that we play truth or dare everyone said yes, so I started the game by asking "James truth or dare?" James chose dare surprise surprise. "James, I dare you to go into the corridor by the Great Hall and yell 'I LOVE LILY EVANS'" "alright who is coming with me?" James said as he stood up. We all stood up and followed James.

Time Skip to The Corridor

Emily, Remus, Peter and I hung back on the stairs while James walked forward into the middle of the corridor. James cupped his hands around his mouth and bellowed "I LOVE LILY EVANS" it was so loud I think the whole school heard him, James ran back to us and we ran up the stairs to the Common Room. After a few more rounds of truth or dare, we started planning our end of year prank.
