Chapter 40.
You ever had that one moment in life where you're totally nervous and fidgety for reasons only known to you? Where you're bubbling with excitement cause you feel that something great is about to happen to you?
That was clearly what I was feeling after Mr stranger gave me that piece of paper.
That small piece of paper that might change my life forever— for the good or bad, is what I'm about to find out.
Taking a deep breath, I clicked on the 'Message' Icon on Kai's Instagram account(after going through his aesthetic posts that had me screaming and screeching for hours. And mind you, the endless screen shots I took ain't something to talk about.)
Hi, Kai!
This is Hyejin from school and I'm your biggest fan!
Excitement and Nervousness bubbled through me as I stared at my phone, waiting for that one message that will change my life forever. Not.
Different case scenarios were running through my head as I imagined how his reply will be and what will happen after that.
Hey Hyejin, It's faltering to have a hot girl like you as my fan :)
Let's be friends ;)
And we chatted more and one day he told Me of his undying love for me and we started dating and stuff, going on endless dates until he proposed to me in college and I said yes. Have 3 beautiful kids and Baam! We lived Happily ever after.
“I love you Hyejin” He whispered, his warm hands caressing my face as we stared lovingly into each other's eyes.
“I Love you too Jongin”
And then he leaned down and we shared a hot passionate kiss, that had the whole crowd cheering on their feet.

Not.
The familiar notification sound of my phone blasted through my room snapping me out from my daydream.
"Aish!" I mumbled slightly irritated at the stupid phone for ruining my happy moment. Idiot device.
Wait was that my phone?!!!!
That means Kai just replied my messages!!!
I stood up and jumped around on my bed, dancing like maniac which resulted in me falling off my bed with a thud which in normal circumstances would have hurt shitless but the excitement in me at that moment made me immune to pain, not even a hit on the head by my mother could ruin my mood.
I picked my self up from the floor and sat cross legged on my bed. I took a deep breath to calm my thumbing heart and with a smile, I picked up my phone, expecting to see a beautiful composed message from him to me.
My smile slowly faltered when I saw that he had read my messages, he did read my messages so why?.
Disappointed washed over me like an erosion in spring when I saw that the notification sound earlier was indeed a message.
But instead of a reply from Kai who definitely read my messages, it was a message from Mr Stranger.
