Affectionate Obligations

A New Child

After Harry's death, Fred and George moved away from the Burrow. Bill and Charlie already left with an excuse of job. Fred and George didn't even gave an excuse, they just left one day without looking back. They hated their family for what they did to Harry. They never forgot him. They loved Harry dearly and have seen him getting broken infront of their eyes. Bill and Charlie also broke every contact with Burrow after Harry's death. They were also struck hard by his death and the apparent reason. Now the four brothers lived together in a cottage.

"Hey Bill, meet this couple. Mr. And Mrs. Zeylyn. They requested to meet the four of us." Charlie announced one day at afternoon, when Bill, Fred and George were sitting around. They all looked around and saw a man and a woman standing beside Charlie and looking at them longingly. Both of them were tall and fair. The woman had long dark hair while the man had brownish hair.

"Hello, I'm Bill Weasley, this is George Weasley and this is Fred Weasley." Bill introduced.

"Hello. I'm Severon Zeylyn and this is my wife Jenifer Zeylyn. We have come to you for a help. Our family is being hunted. We were hiding for so long as Jenny was pregnant. Now that the child is born we can't hide anymore. No one knows about the child. Please keep him. We will take him back after it is safe. Please." The man pleaded while the wife looked looked at them tear filled eyes.

"We are ready to pay you any amount. Just keep our son safe. Please." The wife cried out. The four Weasleys stared at each other.

"Why are you choosing us? We don't know each other." Charlie asked curiously. The wife took out the baby from where she was hiding him. They all saw that it was a newborn with messy black hair and a fair skin.

"We have met other families, but each time Jaime cries out. He is very sensitive to magic. But when we met Mr. Charlie Weasley, he kept quiet. So we decided to meet you all. So far he has not uttered a sound. That's why we are requesting you all." Severon explained. Charlie, Bill, Fred and George gathered around the child. Surprisingly, the child held out a hand towards Fred. Fred looked shocked.

"Take him." Jenifer suggested and held him out. Fred gingerly took the child in his arms. The child gurgled happily and started playing with Fred's hair. Slowly, the child's hair turned red and he became freckled like the rest of the brothers. All of them gasped.

"Sweet Merlin, he's a metamorphgamus." Jenifer cried out. He stroked through his son's hair.

"Never before has he changed like this. He likes you all. Please keep him." Severon looked at them with pleading eyes. All the four brothers looked at each other and nodded.

"Okay. We will keep him." George said aloud. Severon and Jenifer's face broke into a wide smile.

"Thank you. We will be forever in your debt. We are going now. Thank you once again." Severon said earnestly. With one last longing look towards their son, they went away from there. The four brothers looked at the now red haired baby.

"We will give him a different name as we don't actually know his name other than Jaime." Bill suggested.

"Okay. Jamie Harold Weasley." Charlie suggested. Each of them agreed immediately.

"Okay. I'm going to buy some baby food and other necessities. We will need them." Bill announced and apparated away.

"So we now have another brother." George said jokingly as he stroked the baby lovingly. The baby held to one of his finger and brushed it over his lips.

"George, he kissed you." Charlie said excitedly. George nodded ecstatically. Fred lifted the baby and kissed his forehead. Jamie in return gave an open mouthed kiss on his nose. Charlie laughed out loudly.
