lenses as prescribed by doctors Majorly are for proper sight, but today I  have come across a  lense which doesn't help you see but makes us blind, this one is abit weard because it even eats deep in one eyes and makes the user even more of a lunatic.
Everything we are and we have can be used in whatever way an individual chooses to, because life is what we make of it but the choices we make spices it up.Everything that God has graciously given to us we can either use it as a tool of peace or a tool of war, the choice is yours.
Every human being is created with a purpose not by accident. We are in our different tribes for a reason and how beautiful it is when we embrace the gift of diversity. My tribe I should use as an instrument of peace  embrace the different tribes that exist for building a better Kenya.
As a Kenyan Child, am proud and again I say that am proud to belong to a country of more that 40 tribes... What a beautiful and lovely country?
Unfortunately tribalism has eaten us to the roots. We base everything we do based on tribe, not to mention even our decisions are tribal - based. We may try and put the blame on the colonialists that they are or were promoters of the stereotype thinking we have for each other but I believe we can change because as a wise person you cannot be given poison look at it and continue taking it, Kenyans.... We can still change.
If I may quote the Great president of our country Hon.Uhuru Kenyatta, "Kenya belongs to no individual and it's the task of every person, every Kenyan to take up the action of building the country".
Getting drunk due alcohol is far much better than being drunk of tribalism since it is the biggest enemy to any country. The spirit of brotherhood is long forgotten and enmity is the driving force.
Not to mention, the church is divided on tribal lines... One day I do a survey and I ask a Christian brother whether he thinks tribalism will one day end and shock me His response was disappointing, this termite of tribalism has eaten deep even in religion.... Instead of being the light as God instructs to,we are the darkness... If you are a Christian or from any religion and yet you are a tribalist, I think you need redemption.
Our politics are dyeing in the ruthless hands of tribalism, political parties are tribal based. In electing of leaders Kenyans have it in mind they have to vote one of their own mtu Wetu. No longer do we consider the ability of one in service delivery, intellectual qualifications or Character in order to vote, then here we are crying of underdevelopment and yet we are the greatest perpetrators. Oooooh so sad we are blinded with tribalism.
Show me an individual who is tribal minded and I will show you a poverty stricken man.
In our businesses, tribalism has taken root, cant employ people from another tribe and we are all Kenyans, in Marriages, no I can't marry one from another tribe... Tribalism taken control, tribalism finishing the country.
Bluntly speaking Kenyans if we do not remove these foolish blinding lenses development will remain a vocabulary till forever. Never will peace, love a unity prevail instead will just remain part of the song in our national anthem. Kenyans we need each other, no tribe is sufficient enough to survive alone, all of us are important for the growth of our country.
This is a wake up call to all of us, let this not remain in the books but let us practice it, let's love each other, embrace all Kenyans, with the Constitution as our unifying factor let peace reign.May our government take up the mandate of conducting civil education and teach all Kenyans on the important of diversity..
It is possible for Tribalism... Yes it is... It starts with me then you.
