Chapter 5

"It's also quite remarkable for this many werewolves to be settled within one school."

Looking in the direction of the front door I noticed Dakota standing there glaring at them all as he made his way over to me in an intimidating manner as the small group besides the two dark haired people sitting on the couch, looked at him in shock.

Before Erwin could even say anything else to me, Dakota was already in front of me towering over him and glaring down at them all. Did he overhear their conversation as well? Maybe he was worried cause of the amount of people in the room with me.
"What do you mean werewolves? They don't exis-"
"cut the crap four eyes I'm a werewolf too."

Glancing up at him I sigh slightly "Dakota don't be so rude, they were being nice to me..."
rubbing my arm slightly embarrassed I looked to the other people in the room as they were still staring at us now, in surprise maybe? Maybe they didn't expect to find us so quickly, but something about that brunette guy and the pretty black haired girl still trigger something but I don't know what!
"I'm guessing you're 'de-fanger'...your confidence shows you're not one to back down from a predator, and this must be...?"
"My little cousin."
"I see..."

Seeing the dark haired girl walk over to us I watched as she grabbed Dakotas arm pulling him away from everyone else, does he know her?
Looking back to the others I looked back up at Erwin almost in apology "I'm sorry, Dakota is rather protective of me. My uncle wasn't fond of werewolves so I'm not used to your customs..."
"Ah I see, well don't worry about that. We're just glad to know that you're our ally and not our enemy."

"Depends on if he keeps our dorm room clean" looking out from behind Erwin I look to see the dark haired guy glaring at me slightly, ah, he must be Levi. He seems....friendly

Not.

"You must be my roommate, do not worry I will stay out of your way just as you may stay out of mine. I'm not fond of a messy room myself do do not worry about that either."
"Whatever brat"
Alright then....

"Aw come on shorty don't be so rude to him! Look how cute he is he's practically a baby!" Moving back again slightly I felt Hanji once again wrap me in a tight hug like before as she looked in Levi's direction only for him to simply click his tongue at the remark.
"Exactly. Which is going to be annoying for me if youse believe I'm going to baby him like you're doing right now."
Narrowing my eyes slightly at him I clenched my jaw in annoyance before letting my face return to its usual expression as I remarked calmly "I don't need you to baby me, although it doesn't help that your friend here is cuddling me breathless."
"...I see."

I feel...I just made an enemy?....1

Turning back to where Dakota and that girl went I notice them walking back towards us all as Dakotas expression is more calm than before, placing his hands into his pockets I watched as he smiled slightly at everyone and his shoulders relaxed.
"I'm sorry about my rude behaviour before, you know how it is. Can't be too careful."
"It's alright, I'm sure everyone was rather wary to see you both as well"
Geez Erwin is so mature...

Hugging me more I heard Hanji let out an excited squeal as her hold tightened more causing me to gasp slightly for breath as she spoke.
"We should get to know each other more before we have to go back to our dorms! That way we'll be closer as friends!"

With a small groan could be heard from a couple of people in the room, knowing that this is going to be a long a night which we could've done tomorrow after classes.
Patting hanji's arm quickly I try to get her attention before she chokes me out, finally feeling the pressure remove itself from my body I breathed out quickly before I ended up passing out from lack of air.
"Oh sorry, was I squeezing too hard?"
"A little bit yeah, but it's alright don't worry"

"Aww I'm sorry cutie!" Clapping her hands together as an apology she quickly grinned at me and then the others
"Alright! Let's get started on the friend making!"
Once again a few groans of annoyance were heard from the dorm room, as everyone once again got comfortable and began talking with each other.

6 hours...we literally talked for 6 hours, do people normally do that? For fun? I think I'd only be able to last 1 hour before wanting to go back to bed.

Right now me and Levi were cleaning up the slight mess everyone made while they were here, nothing too bad just some dirty cups and things where they 'shouldn't be' as Levi stated, well before calling me shitty.
"You done putting everything back in place brat!"
Looking over to him I stand up properly as he walks pout from the kitchen area before looking around letting out a small tongue clicking noise before looking back to me.
"Not bad brat."
"Thanks, this is my first time here so I just put everything back in place from memory from when I arrived."

Once Hearing that it almost looked as if his eyes, lightened up a little? Maybe I'm just imagining it. He seems rather stoic beside the small common frown so I must've just imagined that happening.
"So you have a photographic memory?"
"Yeah, something like that"
"I see, so that's how you got into a higher year class"
"No I was just focus more on academics than anything else that might've been important to someone's life. I didn't cheat, I didn't trick any one. It's just how I was raised to be."
Putting the final couch cushion back in place I walked past him, beginning to feel slight pain from the restriction that the bandages were causing, considering it wasn't healthy to have them on I needed to remove them before they caused the start of some permanent damage before I've even gotten into the first day of school.
"I'll see you possibly in the morning or in class, good night Levi."
Before he even could reply I had already made it into my room and closed the door behind me, listening closely I made sure that he wasn't going anywhere near my room door as I carefully began to remove the bandages from my chest.

Wincing slightly I knew that this was definitely gonna leave some type of bruise was going to form, i had already worn it for too long before I even got here I doubt putting it back on for 6 hours wasn't exactly helpful to me, especially considering its bandages. I should invest in getting a chest binder....maybe I can put it under the bandages that way I don't have to wrap the bandages so tight and I still have my alibi on why I wear them, to hide the chest binder.

Hiding the bandages safely I put a chair in front of the door handle to keep it shut in case Levi decided to enter. A lock for my door is also something I need to invest in now that I think about it.

Once securing the door and checking that it wouldn't be able to open, I removed the wig and placed it inside an empty drawer and brushed my hair out to get all the knots and tugs of the day out of it. Once doing that I lay back down onto the bed and pulled the covers up over me.

First day of school tomorrow...
