"I don't see nothing wrong
With a little bump and grind"

THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT FRIDAY nights that make the young population of Cedar Hills go crazy. Maybe it was the moon, or the booze, or the fact that we were all pretty much cramped into the basement of pretty boy, James Rosem with little to no room in between us and we all sang along to R. Kelly's Bump and Grind.

Tonight marked the first night before the three month long break from school called summer vacation and for the juniors who just became seniors like I did it was a night to relax after all the hard work we had put in over the last year. And I knew exactly how I wanted to end the night.

The host of the party had been watching me all night and the seductive tint in his eyes gave away to exactly what he had planned. And I was the kind of girl who would go along because the liquor was strong and my desire to do something that I know for sure will leave scars of remembrance was stronger.

But even stronger than that we're the glares of surrounding girls who had witnessed the heated look between James and I. I was what the town and all it's inhabitants liked to refer to as promiscuity at its finest. And girls like the ones staring at me never liked to let me forget.

Did I sleep around? Maybe.

Did I go around unprotected? Never.

But with the way the female population liked to treat me you would've thought that I had slept
with their boyfriends, fathers, and brothers all at once. And then gotten pregnant. However it wasn't all girls who talked behind my back and in front of my face. There was one girl in particular who had always had my back.

Lisa Cain was my needle in the haystack. A genuine person hidden in the sea of bitches that littered the streets. And currently dancing beside me with no care in the world with her white - blond hair flying around and her hands invading everyone's space with no care in the world.

"Simone, are you really planning to ditch me for public enemy number one?" her silvery voice asks as she sways away to the music.

Public enemy number one also known as James Rosem was given that name by the female population. He was basically the male version of me, but 10x worse.

"He has a name, darling, and it's bed warmer for tonight" I retort. And in response I get a scoff as she resumes her dancing.

I take that as my cue to walk over to James, making sure my hips sway in rhythm to the beat and giving him a dose of what's to come. In a matter of seconds I'm in his arms swaying along to the beat and pressing my lips gently against his in a kiss that tastes like expensive alcohol and a hint of vanilla.

"Do you think your friend will mind if you ditch her for a little while?" his whispers in my ear in reference to Lisa who was still dancing. It was a nicer way to say do you think she'd mind if I took you upstairs to fuck. And seeing as how I was definitely in the mood to do just that Lisa's thoughts on what was about to take place upstairs  were starting to rank at number two on my list of fucks given.

"Maybe we'll find out if we actually make it upstairs, with all this talking I might change my mind" I taunt. And in what seems to have happened in a flash I find myself in James arms with my arms loosely around his neck and legs secured tightly around his waist.

"How about I show you why changing your mind would be a mistake?"
