Moving Up

The next morning, after gathering, they started making plans. First of, they decided to have some breakfast, to regain their powers and minimise their hunger, but not something much; they were still unsure of when they would be leaving and it was best to be prepared for the worst case scenario.

After breakfast, a silence enveloped them, which Marco broke asking what everyone else wanted too. Should they keep going risking to enrage the whichever spirit, or leave the place be with the clues they gathered up until now?

And so they voted... They were all hesitant at first but after Jack's encouraging speaking, saying them that, they came here with a purpose and they should see it through, their little warries went out the window. Only Lexy was still against it but being the only one saying no didn't really count.

And so they were standing at the base of the staircase. Jack on the lead and the others behind. He started going up saying to the others that the sooner they get it over with the better.

The staircase was like a swirl and Jack had many images of him tripping by mistake and shoving Marco or even his best friend Nathan off and if he was lucky enough they would fall headfirst and explode in a pool of blood. He had however made a promise to her and he would keep it. He would be patient enough to not kill them until she told him to.

When they reached the end of the staircase they found themselves in a small hole that had three doors. One leading to the north wing , one to the east wing and another to the west wing. A small breeze seemed to be coming from the later and it instantly made Jack realise that she was there and he had to go too.

He told them, that they would be splitting up, to groups of two. Marco would go with Nathan, Sarlot with Steven and he would go with Lexy. Having everyone agreeing he told them that the first group would go to the north wing. Steve and Sarlot would be going to the east and he would head to the west with Lexy.

They all went towards their assigned wing and opened the door saying to meet up after to hours to report no matter the case. They opened the doors and left them close lightly, allowing three clicks to create an eco to the empty hall.

I know I haven't uploaded since forever and that this part is extremely small but shit happened and well... you know...🙇🙇

Whatever the case I promise nothing for I am writing exams at my school and really can't give priority to this. 🙇🙇
