GUESS WHAT MY BOREDOM MADE!!! Because of the quarantine, I've been writing non-stop for my reboot of this book.
This will be my last update of this version of the Obsidian Coven. I hope you all stick around, though! I have big plans for this trilogy (yes, there will be three books), but it wouldn't be as fun without all of you.
I'll post an update on this chapter once the reboot is out. I can't wait to see y'all there! Until then, please enjoy this polished garbage. 😂
Up above, you can see the Sisterhood of the Lamplight.
Comment here if you remember how Bloom earned her Enchantix!

Jane
When Jane came to, it was still dark, but a different kind. This darkness was cold and all-encompassing, sticking to her bones through her thin, flannel pajamas. The next thing she noticed was the wet, hard ground beneath her. It was stone, and it was seeping through her skin. She tried to reach out to touch the ground but realized her wrists were bound behind her back. She opened her mouth to panic but found her shouts were muffled by a gag.She couldn't see a thing in the darkness, but she could hear voices coming from somewhere. The whispers bounced off of the cavernous walls and surrounded her. Jane decided that she wasn't going to stick around long enough to discover if the voices were friend or foe.
Twisting in her chafing bonds, she crossed her wrists in the signature Winx position and exclaimed "Magic Winx!" through her gag, ignoring the spit that dribbled down her chin.
Light encompassed her, and when it died away, she felt the cold stone floor against her bare thighs. She pushed away the sting of the cold in her tiny grey dress and focused on burning through her bonds. The voices got closer, so she urged the flame to burn hotter, faster. When the bonds finally snapped, she ripped off her gag and flew as high as she could. She felt a new kind of terror at flying up and up with no idea what was above her. Paradoxically, it felt somewhat like falling. She couldn't risk any fire to light her way, in case it made her easier to spot, but after a while, she decided to slow down because now the ceiling was just too high up. She began to theorize that she was in a cave because it felt exactly like the tunnels under Magix.
At some point, she stopped because it was getting too cold for her to maintain much more than a flutter. She really wanted to light up the room as she began to see nightmares swimming around in the pitch black. It turned out that it was pointless because when the voices were directly beneath her, a fireball shot straight up into the air and lit up the room like a Christmas tree.
