Alexia's pov. I wake up curled in Ezra's arms on a floor. " sweetheart what time is it?" I ask while gently shaking his shoulders. " I do not know, but I think Emily is going to kill us" he says with a smirk. " I'm okay with that" I say while trying to snuggle closer to him. " while I'm not so get up angel" he says while standing up. I whimper but get up. After the ride back and Emily's hour lecture I get changed into my dress.

" so are we to walk or are we doing something else" I ask Em as we make are way to the ladies in the room. " today we are going to go out and take a short walk around the property before tea then we will play a game of cards, finally we will move outside to play a couple games before heading inside for dinner." Emily says while taking a count of people. " well you have it all figured out do you not" Olivia says before stomping off. " of corse she would bring drama to this" I say as we start walking. After walking for a bit we all decide to go back into the house to cool down. Once inside the house refreshments were served, and the men ended up joining us for awhile. During tea I began to feel ill so I decided to go upstairs, and lie down. I accidentally feel asleep. " wake up you have to get changed" I hear Emily's voice through the foggy haze of sleep. I slowly open my eyes to see her rushing around already dressed for the night. " oh sorry I did not mean to be this late" I say while getting up. " your fine everything is fine just get dressed, because the ball is going to start in like six minutes, and Ezra wants to know where you are" she says before leaving the room. I quickly grab my dress , and put it on before doing my hair in a quick braid with hair pins through it. Then leave the room to go to the ballroom. " there you are angel I was afraid I would have to make the announcement by myself" Ezra says while hugging me. " yeah sorry I fell asleep" I say with a half smile. " while my angel do you want to dance with me?" He asks while leading me over to the main part of the ballroom, and soon we were part of the dance. Luckily it was not a dance where we changed partners. After that we all go to dinner. Which is half an hour of very civil talk amongst the lady's. " this is so tedious" I whisper to Ezra when the conversation turns to shoes. " yes, but nothing else can be expected of predictable people" he says while kissing my cheek. " yes, but some of these people happen to be very respectable in your mothers eyes so let's try not to upset them" I say while getting up, and heading toward the drawing room. Where everyone, but Ezra, Amelia, and I play cards. " so when can I expect a little one around" Amelia asks with a smile " we do not know yet, but maybe soon" I say with a smile while looking around the room. What would it be like to be a mother. Would I even be a good one. " alright everyone please proceed into the ballroom" Emily says with a smile. Ezra, and I both stand. Okay here goes nothing. As we walk into the ballroom I see his mother, and father already staring at the stage. " I guess it's good that this is the closing of the night" I say while squeezing Ezra's hand " do not worry let me do all the talking okay" he says with a reassuring smile. I smile back at him before taking the stage. " respected guest, and people of honor we would like to thank you all for coming, but before you leave we have an announcement for you all. My wife and I will be missing for sometime due to the news we received a couple days back. Which is that their will be a new addition to our family. For that time being I I trust the castle, and it's running to my parents. Thank you all, and have a goodnight" Ezra says before we both leave to our bedroom. " so angel where will we be staying?" He asks with a smirk. " I do not know do you have any particular places you would like to stay?" I ask while undressing, and putting on my nightgown. " I think I have the perfect place I just have to check that it is okay to stay in before we go okay angel?" He asks while pulling me onto the bed. " goodnight sweetheart" I say while snuggling closer to him. " goodnight angel" he whispers before I fall asleep.
