Prank War

~10 weeks later~

Its been ten weeks since you met Colby at that party. You both had exchanged numbers and kept in touch. You found your both had similar tastes in music so that was something easy to bond over. You have gotten more comfortable with Colby and you let your true self out every once in a while and it makes you blend right in with the quirkiness of the house.
Recently Colby started up a prank war and the previous day, he had been pranked by waking up in a pool, so you and him were gonna get back Corey and Sam.
{Brockstar: Yo so ive been thinking}
You feel the vibration of your phone and you reply
{Mm? What of?}
{Brockstar: so ive been single pretty much the whole time I've known any of these guys, we should prank em saying you and I hooked up. You down? :P}
Your eyes scanned over the text multiple times, your mind in disbelief. Was this a hint that he liked you?? Was it a way of saying he didn't consider you like that seriously??? Was it flirting??? All these thoughts went through your head but eventually you responded
{Hell yeah im down, let's do it 😈}
You bit your lip harshly as you pressed the send button
{Brockstar: liiiiiit just lemme get dressed} he sent a picture of him lying down in bed

which made you squeal and chuck your phone.

~10 min later~

Colby had just set up the camera and hid it. You had borrowed some makeup that Kat had left lying around Sam's room to make what looked like hickeys on your neck. You were in the big ole house and you tried to maintain a serious composure. The camera was facing the kitchen and Colby was shirtless in shorts and making foods and drinks whenever someone walked by. The first one to see you and Colby in the kitchen was Sam. He stopped in the doorway to watch for a minute as Colby shot you a flirtatious wink and you covered your mouth with a smile, moving your head so that the hickey was visible. Sam gasped and bolted upstairs. Talking could be heard, Sam and Kat, and you and Colby looked at each other while they scurried to others rooms to tell them the news. Colby got close to you and leaned down to whisper in your ear
"Now is the moment of truth. You ready?"
His voice sent chills down your spine amd you nodded, your cheeks lightly flushed "Always" you put on a smirk and twirled around the kitchen humming when you heard footsteps on the stairs. Colby waltzed up to you and put his hands on your waist, twirling you and pulling you close. You both chuckled and the others started cheering, especially Kat
"Yes!!! Finally!!!"
You both looked at the group that had gathered near the stairs and Corey spoke up after the cheers quieted down, arms folded over his chest
"Mm, I dunno man I thought you were gay"
Everyone snickered at that and he kept talking
"Alright wheres the camer-" he then noticed the "hickey" on your neck and gasped while pointing "duuuuuuuude! Thats not real. Thats not real!" He was smiling amd laughing then Sam spoke up
"If it is real im sure they wont mind giving each other a little kiss" he smirked
Without warning Colby placed a hand gently on your cheek and looked into your eyes before slowly leaning in. Soon you were no more than centimeters apart and then Colby jerked back and let go
"Its a prank!!!!! Haha!"
Your face was a deep red and everyone laughed and talked about how convincing it was. Corey touched the fake hickey "Yeah its just Kats makeup"
He looked at her "oh so you were in on it?"
I laughed "no no she had no idea I took some"
While the others were chatting and laughing Colby glanced over at you. For a moment you locked eyes and then he winked with a playful grin. You blushed heavily and smiled before engaging in the topic of conversation.
