Unfortunate Incidents (JM)

It was one of those normal evenings we spent together.

No, it was far from it. Jason took me to watch a concert that night. I was doubtful of my liking towards it as the genre was Jazz. I wasn't a big fan of Jazz, it was too slow for my liking. But, since he insisted, I went along with him, also in thought to please him as I knew he didn't want to go with anyone else but me.

Surprisingly, it turned out to be quite entertaining and seeing Jason happy was the highlight of everything. As it ended, Jay firmly wrapped his arms around my waist.

'Told you, you would like it' He said and I felt his grin radiating behind me.

I turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck.

'You know what I loved most about it?' I asked.

'what my lady?' He asked as my stomach filled with butterflies for what he called me. He has so many nicknames but every time I hear one of them, I get butterflies

'Seeing that smile on your face' I said and his grin grew wider as he leaned in to kiss me.

' I love you angel. Thank you for coming with me.' He said kissing my cheek repeatedly. I giggled.

'Always Jay' I said.

We walked out of the hall and got lost into the massive crowd. Jay had his arms firmly wrapped around me, not letting him loose me.

I looked around to find my friend, Cassie who said she'll meet me outside. And then I spotted her a few feet away from me. I withdrew from Jason's grip.

' Cassie's there. Ill talk to her and be back, okay?' I said. I knew he didn't want to let me go but he gave in.

'Fine. But don't go too far. Stay where I can see you'. He said and I nodded and dashed towards Cassie.

I creeped past all the drunken people and finally caught Cassie. She turned towards me and grinned.

'LEEEE!!!' She yelled attacking me with a tight squeeze leaving me gasping for air.

We chatted for a while as the crowd got wilder and more drunk. I don't know where they found the liquor but everyone around us were drunk.
So I looked around looking for Jason but couldn't spot him.

After a while I spotted him face to face with some girl. He looked confused but she was clearly drunk. Out of nowhere she leaned in and kissed him.

My jaw dropped in shock. The world was suddenly crumbling down before and I was frozen, not knowing how to react. Then his eyes locked with mine and he harshly pushed the girl away.

But it was too late.

Tears were rolling down my eyes without stopping and I started running without knowing where I was running to. I ran as fast as my feet could take me but someone caught my arm and pulled me back. I prayed and hoped that it wasn't him.

It was Cassie.

'Lee' she looked at me bewildered as she watched me sob my eyes out.

'Jason......he....kissed....' I couldn't even bring myself to say it properly.
Cassie looked even more surprised.

But she didn't question me, instead she hugged me tight.

' let's go to come place okay? And talk.' She said and I nodded slowly not really caring where I go.

I just don't want to see him.

I watched her walking away from me to Cassie. I frowned, I don't like it when she's away from me.
