It's been a year since Nightmare attacked. The people of Gondalucia have been happy with the peace and quiet. But this made the Bio-Warrior Army be concern about this silence. "It's far too quiet. Nightmare should have attacked by now." said Tech-0-Tron. "I know." replied Angelina. "Rushton and Terra have been sparring since the last attack." she added. Soon the good doc, MurSur walked up to the cyborg and Siren. "I've enjoyed the peace. It helps me out focus on my research and chemistry," said MurSur. "Yeah. Aren't you worried at all?" asked Angelina. MurSur shook his head and walked back to his lab.
Meanwhile outside, both Bio-Warriors (Bio-Bot and Terrason) were training outside on the courtyard. "Hey Terra! I hope you'll try your best this time!" shouted Bio-Bot. "This time Bio, I'll win!" Terrason shouted back. He and Bio have battled many times to see who the best Bio-Warrior is after Golden Warrior died. Bio-Bot has always won every spar. Terra had hoped that one day he can finally settle this long standing friendly rivalry.
Bio-Bot stabbed his wooden sword into the ground and it started to glow purple. "Night's Mare!!" he shouted, swinging the blade upward, sending out a purple crescent of dark energy. Terra jumped high and avoided the ground-bound (heheh. That rhymed) attack and charged his hammer with destructive power. "HammerShatter!!" he shouted. Then he slammed the ground with all of the charged strength from within his Thunderhammer. Cracks stretched across the courtyard towards Bio-Bot with a hot substance spewing out. "Ah! Hot! Hot! HOT!!" screamed Bio-Bot, jumping away from the cracks. The cracks slowly disappeared. And Bio-Bot dashed forward and slashed Terrason with his wooden sword. Terra stepped to the side and punched him onto the ground. Bio-Bot tried to get up, but then collapsed.
For the first time in two and a half years, Terra finally beat Bio-Bot in a battle. "Yes! I won!" said Terra, punching the air. He ran back inside to celebrate his achievement. "Ouch...I think I forgot how strong he is..." said Bio-Bot. Angelina walked outside and saw him in a bad state. She ran over and healed his bruises with her Water Elemental Crystal. "Be more careful, Terrason is as powerful as a truck." stated Angelina. "OK." said Bio-Bot.
Suddenly the sky turned purple and the clouds went black. Black lightning struck the ground and many people screamed in fear. "The sky... Dark Bio-Bot's attacking!" said Bio-Bot. It was true. The Dark Angel was flying above the city of Gondalucia in the Pantera Zone, slaughtering people and harvesting there souls. "Hahahaha! This is much easier without anyone else! Just me to collect these souls!" laughed Dark Bio-Bot. The dark angel raised his left hand skyward and collected 127 souls from the people he brutally killed. "Got what I need for now. Nightmare's fabric will be 37% more repaired! Now to head back---" but he got interrupted after getting struck by an electrically charged rocket, dropping 100 of the souls he gathered. MurSur used his gadget to collect the 100 dropped souls to save them. "There. I got some of them" said Doc MurSur. "Now to get the other 27!!" shouted Terra, leaping high to attack. "No wait!" said Bio-Bot. "Always runs off without a second thought." he sighed.
Terra swung his hammer on Dark Bio-Bot and sent him sprawling to the ground. "ARGH! Take this!" shouted Dark Bio-Bot, swinging his blood-red sword to damage Terra. The slice was so lethal that Terra's skin was cut and began to bleed. Angelina quickly used her Siren powers to heal the wound and used her Fire Crystal to ignite the Dark Angel. "Ow ow ow ow! You'll pay for that!!" shouted Dark Bio-Bot. He then swung his Dark Kai-Blade to kill the woman, but then Bio-Bot dashed in front and pushed it back with the Blue Blade. "Hey faker. You couldn't resist going solo could you?" said Bio-Bot. "FOOLISH FOOL! I am more than capable to defeat you all by myself! But there is one thing that has to be done. The Light vs. Darkness Duel!!" shouted Dark Bio-Bot. "Huh? How does that work?" asked Tech-0-Tron, checking his scanners for survivors. "It's simple. If there are two of the same people with opposite personalities, like me and goody two-shoes here, they run on an endless road, clashing until one cannot continue to fight!" explained the Dark Angel. With the snap if his fingers both Bio's were on a stream of road with no end. And no sign of anything else. "So shall we?" asked Bio-Bot. "Gladly. PREPARE TO DIE!!" replied Dark Bio-Bot
They began to run and duel. Both at Mach 6, blades clashing, energy attacking coming from both swords and destruction on the road from behind. It seemed like the battle was going to last forever. But with a gleem of luck, Bio-Bot decided to go so fast he'd break the wind barrier. He jumped into the air and landed onto the ground, increasing his speed and reaching Mach 8. He headed so fast that he returned to the burning city.
"Did you win?" asked MurSur wearing his goggles. "No. But if Dark Bio-Bot is attacking, so will the Nightmare Spirits. Be cautious of the next attack team!!" ordered Bio-Bot. "Roger!" they replied. The team returned to base, and began to prepare for the next attack...
