I woke up in tears. Another nightmare about Louis. I checked my phone, I had a text. I let out a sigh of relief when I saw it was from Louis.

Lou Bear My Bestie 4ever: Morning Gracie Cakes, hope you're well. The Kingsley Family had better watch me and the lads on X Factor tonight ;) love you xx"

I smiled at his name on my phone that he had put in. Oh yeah! Today was Sunday so the boys are on. Every Sunday, my family would go over to the Tomlinson's house to watch them perform.

I replied to him, "Hey Lou Bear, yeah I'm good, just missing you. And of course were gonna watch! Duh, we always go over to your house to watch. Good luck to you guys, love you too :) x"

I sighed and held my locket in my hands. I really haven't taken it off since Lou gave it to me. I remembered when he gave it to me on my 13th birthday...

*** "It's almost your birthday!" The sound of Louis' voice came through my house phone.

"I know," I whispered into the receiver as I hid under my covers in bed.

"5 more minutes!" I could tell he was smiling.

I poked my head out of the blankets and looked at the clock. 11:55pm.

"I can't believe you talked me into waiting up," I yawned.

"It's the day that you're finally a teenager! 13 is a big number!" he said dramatically.

"Yeah, but I can still be a teenager at like, 10:00 tomorrow morning. Besides, you live right down the street!" I exclaimed.

"Grace Johanna Kingsley. Trust me, just wait up a few more minutes."

I loved my full name, especially since my middle name is Louis' mum's first name.

"Okay then, Louis William Tomlinson," I smiled. Louis' middle name came from my father, William.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GRACIE!" he shouted into the phone. Sure enough, it was midnight.

"Thanks, Lou," I smiled.

"Go to your window!" he demanded cutely.

Confused, I stumbled over to my first story window and opened the blinds. There was Lou, standing with a giant stuffed kangaroo. Yes, a kangaroo was my favourite animal.

I smiled like an idiot, he always made me smile like that. I slid my window up and brought the kangaroo in, and then grabbed his hand and helped him in.

"Lou, it's adorable! Thank you! Does it have a name?"

"Okay, so I wanted it to have an original name. So I named her Lacie. You know, Lou and Gracie mixed," he explained.

"Aw, Lou," I hugged him while tearing up, and he tightly hugged me back.

We sat down on my window seat.

"Look in Lacie's pouch," he nudged me.

I moved my hand towards the pouch and pulled out a small, black, velvet box. I slowly opened it, and gasped.

Inside was a beautiful gold chain, with a heart shaped locket on it. On the outside of the locket, "Best Friends Forever" was engraved. I opened it up and saw a picture of Lou and I hugging in front of the Christmas tree at his house, when he was turning 8.

"Lou," I whispered. "It's beautiful!" I began to cry softly.

He wrapped his arms around me into a tight hug.

"Will you put it on for me?" I asked.

"Of course," he brushed my hair forward, reached around me and secured the clip on the chain around my neck.

"I'm never taking it off! I love it! Thank you so much!" I cooed.

"I'm glad you like it Gracie. You're very welcome," he smiled.

"I'm so tired," I groaned. "Can you just stay over?"

"I already told mum that I'd most likely be staying over," he smiled cheekily.

"You know me so well, Lou," I laughed.

I grabbed Lacie and we climbed into my double bed.

"Hey, Lou?"

"Yeah, Gracie?" he asked.

"Will you sing me happy birthday?"

"Sure!" he began to sing softly.

Lou had an amazing voice. It was so unique and just all around beautiful. I loved listening to him sing. I fell asleep to his gorgeous voice serenading me.***

"Gracie! Hurry up, we're about to head to the Tomlinson's!" my mum, Jane, called to me from the living room.

I was excited to see Jay, we were each other's rocks while Louis was away.

When we showed up, I hugged Lottie, Fizzy, Phoebe and Daisy, and then Jay. I collapsed into Jay's arms and we both broke down in tears.

"I know you miss him, Gracie Cakes. I do too," she whispered into my hair. "But, we need to be strong for him and the girls, okay?" she whispered and wiped under my eyes with her thumb before planting a kiss on my forehead.

I nodded and we sat down on the couch with everyone and we watched the boys.

The time until they were done with the X Factor tour went by incredibly slowly. The only way I was able to get through it, was being with the Tomlinsons. All. The. Time.

I was at their house everyday. Baking with Jay, watching movies with the girls, just being in their company every day. I even slept there a lot, in Louis' bed.

One glorious, amazing, fantastic, wonderful morning, Jay sat on the end of Louis' bed and shook me gently.

"Gracie Cakes, it's time to go get Lou, sweetie," she smiled.

I shot up in his bed with excitement.

"Yayayayay!" I squealed as I threw on a pair of Louis' sweatpants and a sweater from his closet.

We stood in the airport waiting for Louis to arrive and the anticipation was killing me. We heard an announcer say which flight was deplaning, and it was Lou's flight.

We saw a flood of people exit, and that's when we saw him. Our Lou Bear was home.
