Chapter 1-
Nicole pov.
“Nicole! Wake up!”
I shoot straight up from my bed and notice I’m sweating and crying in my sleep again!
“I had the dream again!” I cry into Madison shoulder.
“The car accident?”Madison asks. I nod into her shoulder.
“Well I’m sorry you must hate having to remember that awful memory. But Nicole we have to record a song today for Simon.” She says getting up from my bed. “The car will be here at 10.”
I look at the clock and it says 7:30. Ugh, to early!
“Well I’m going to head into the shower, thanks Mads.” I say hugging her.
“Ha-ha, no problem. Now go you smell!” she says pulling away and slapping my butt when I walk away.
“Why do you always have to do that!” I yell at her and she just shrugs.
I step into the bathroom and strip down from my slightly wet pajamas from sweating. And turn to walk into the large shower.
Well now I think now is the appropriate time to introduce myself.
I’m Nicole Hicks, 17 from small town Illinois. How me and my best friend Madison Butler live in the big city of Las Angeles. Now you are probably wondering what small town girl are doing here. Well Madison and I are singers and we auditioned for the x-factor together. We made it all the way to the finally but sadly we got second. We were totally bummed!
When we headed back to our dressing room to pack up and go back to Illinois we were stopped by the one and only Simon Cowell. He offered us a record deal! We couldn’t say no! He had us move down here and said he would have everything paid for. And I mean everything. He even lets go shopping and it’s still on him! Let’s just say he’s like an uncle I never had!
Madison had a very hard time leaving while me I couldn’t wait to get out of Illinois! Mads has a big family and is very close to her big sister. I almost had to drag her to the airport! But after 10 minutes of crying on the plane she calmed down. At that moment we just where so star struck, 1st class. We, by surprise, where seated by two of the biggest pop stars ever! Katy Perry and Selena Gomez! I guess they were making a movie together. So we chatted with them and exchanged numbers, now me and Madison are best friends with those ladies. If we have any problems we go to them.
But long story short here we are in L.A. about to sing in a studio with Simon Cowell recording us!
I step out of the shower and dry off heading into my large bedroom thanks again Simon! I grab a black skirt and a red sweater with red wedges and head back into the bathroom and change. I tightly curled my long brown hair and put a dab of blush on. Mascara for my long eyelashes. And to finish It off I had put on red lipstick to make my lips pop!
As I finish I grab my bag and head to the main living area to see Madison in there wearing a gorgeous leopard print short skirt and a black glossy top, with some black pumps! Her dark long hair was straight and put into a high pony and she had only light eyeliner on and mascara.
She was not one to wear a lot of makeup. But me I love makeup. I might only wear it out but I go full out no matter where I go!
“Now, Nicole if you would stop checking me out, the car will be down stairs in 10 minutes. We do not want to be late.” Madison says smirking.
With her saying that we head to the elevator and down to the lobby. Stepping out of the elevator we got a few stares and whistles from guys but we just ignoChapter 1-
