Nicole pov.
Rick said it would be an hour ride so I and Madison both popped in our earphones and was listening to the song we are going to record today.
While sitting there I was listening to Marry You by Bruno Mars my other best friend Chelsey texted me. We have been best friends since we where 14.
Hey girly! How is L.A.? What you gurls doing today?! Hope u meet famous people! I’m coming out soon! I hate Illinois!

I let out a little squeal,” Mads! Chels is coming out!!” I say.
“Great.” She says blankly and sarcastically.
“What crawled up ur pants this morning?!” I say.
“You know what she did!” she yells.
“All I remember is you trying to take her boyfriend, Mads.”I say quietly.
“Not my fault he liked me better!” she screamed.
“Maddie we need to stop, we need to get along for the recording today, okay, peace?” I say sticking my hand out. She shook it.
After that we plugged our earphones back into our ears and my phone starts playing Skyscraper by Demi Lovato .
This is going to be and fun and long day!

We just arrived at the studio and there where about 40 cars in the parking lot, not to many.We walk in and go straight to the front desk.
“Name?”
“Nicole Hicks and Madison Butler.”
“We are excited for you guys to be here! Go to the 66 floor room 87. Simone should be here soon. If he’s not here already.”
We nod and follow her instructions. To the elevator we go. I step in first and automatically press number 66.
The ride up didn’t take but 2 minutes. When we stepped out I saw a sign saying <85, 86, 87, 88 and 89, 90, 91>.
We take a left and see number 87 rights at the end and go straight to the door.
“Should I just walk in?”Madison asks. After she said that I pushed her right into the room. And we see the no other than Simone Cowell right there.
“Hi sorry we are late traffic was awful.” I say as I shake Simon’s hand.
“I don’t shake I hug” Simon says pulling me into a big hug. Not such a bad guy!
I smile and let go. When he goes to hug Madison, she seemed to be a little tense during the hug. She’s a tense person. Ha-ha
“Okay, Nicole I’m going to have you go in the booth first Ill have you do a cover song real quick. What song?”
“Um, I think My Heart Will Go One.” I said smiling. That has to be one of my all time favorite songs!
‘’Good choice!” Simone says cheerfully.
I get into the booth and put those big headphones on my head and was just about to sing but the door slammed open reveling the one and only One Direction.
