Amanda, David and Melissa sat in the hall with the rest of the school's learners. The principal stood in the front. He has a lump in his throat and a guilty look. Not that he had done something wrong of course. If you were a principal and had to tell hundreds of other learners one of the school learners killed themselves you wouldn't have known how to do it.
"Learners, teachers we had recently received some bad news. One of the learners here at school aren't with us anymore. Angela Cotze recently took her own life. We want to wish all luck to her parents Mr, Miss Cotze and their daughter. We hope you will be able to manage through this hard time."

Amanda stood in the school's bathroom washing her sweaty hands hearing girls walking in laughing. It's Riley and Yana.
"Oh hi miss. Cotze." They greeted Amanda.
"Hi girls." She greeted back and look at them. Last she remember them, they use to wear friendship necklaces which Angela also had. Now they have different necklaces. "I see you're getting along quite fine without Angela."
"She was a dear friend Miss. Cotze." Yana said dearly looking sorry.
"Yeah we never even knew what she was capable of doing." Riley agreed joining the mirror to check her lipstick. "People come and go. Sometimes we just have to move on."
Amanda role her eyes and walk out of the bathroom accidentally bumping into the sweet girl. For a moment she felt like Angela.

Angela's P.O.V

"I'm so sorry." I apologised looking at this nice girl. "New kid, right?"
"My name is Courtney." She smiled bright shaking my hand.

3rd person's P.O.V

"Sorry." Courtney apologised to Amanda snapping her out of her thoughts. Courtney had a lump in her throat and tears in her eyes. "I'm really sorry. I'm just not having such a great day."
"Were you friends with Angela?"
"Yes. She invited me to hang out with her, Riley and Yana." Courtney replied. Now she looks like a total mess. Hair is messed up, face is unhealthy looking and seems like she lost her smile. "Are you her mother?"
"Yes." Amanda nodded her head sadly. Courtney looked a little disturbed. Does she know something no one else does? Amanda look at her a bit unsure. Courtney looked up seeing Riley and Yana come out giving her an odd look.
"Courtney, what are you doing?" Yana asked glaring at her.
"Nothing." Courtney replied and immediately walked away. Amanda immediately knew that she knows something.

Angela's P.O.V

"Okay so when you take five hundred..." I'm explaining the work to Courtney and Sally that's both in my room. Yeah the three of us had decided to meet up at my place and study together. It's better and we can understand each other's point of view better then.
"Okay so hold there a moment, where did you find that?" Courtney asked biting the back of her pen.
"Previous answer." Sally replied for me to Courtney. She understood me better than anyone else. Me and Sally aren't really that close but to my opinion we're well enough.
"O okay. So you take that and divide it with seventeen on one hundred which the answer should be eighty five." Courtney typed on her calculator giving us an odd look afterwards. "There is something seriously wrong with this sum."
"Well probably because she sum isn't accurate." I smiled and put my books down in front of me. "I heard Judith is having a party this Saturday. Are any of you going?"
"I don't belong there." Sally immediately said.
"I didn't get invited." Courtney replied and put her stuff down relaxing back.
"Me neither. I was just wondering." I lay back on the ground seeing Buddy run in. He came all over me licking my face. I laughed and sat up straight throwing him over so that I can rub his stomach.
Buddy is like the friend that understands me out of everyone. Truth is, every kid needs an animal. I need my Buddy. Melissa once had a puppy, Flames who really looked like flames but he died when he ran in front of a moving vehicle. The guy apologised over and over again but Melissa couldn't forgive him. I remember how it all happened. How it all ended too of course.
