The trances weren't something she could control. The whole seeing the future thing was never perfect and overrated. All Ashlyn knew is that when she awoke, danger and fear lingered in her every pore. Now S.H.I.E.L.D wants to use her and for the first time ever, Ashlyn's lost. But maybe a certain super soldier could help.

─ Ashlyn got her powers after visiting a prophet who read her future and intentionally gave them to her. ─ Nick wants her because she can predict the world's fate. ─ Ashlyn is hot-headed and reckless, it was how S.H.I.E.L.D found her. She tries to escape them and fight every way she can. ─ S.H.I.E.L.D was able to track her down because of the big news of a prophet reading futures that actually happen. ─ The only reason why she couldn't predict S.H.I.E.L.D coming after her is because she can't read her own future. ─ Ashlyn doesn't trust easily so when Steve comes all friendly, she thinks it's because he wants to use her, too.
