*beep beep beep beep*
I looked at my alarm clock. 5:45 am.
Crap.
It's the first day of school. And for me, it's the first day of high school.
Double crap.
I got myself up and changed my clothes and then did my makeup, which took a lot longer than it sounds.
I looked at my clock again. 6:15 am.
I went downstairs and ate a quick breakfast, went back upstairs to brush my teeth and to grab my bag, and then back down again to walk to the bus stop.
There were already several people on the bus, but I'm not the social kind. I ended up sitting in an empty seat. I put my earbuds in and turned some music on.
A few minutes later, I found Laito sitting next to me. I pulled out one earbud.
"Hey, Piggy," Laito said, yawning.
He has the cutest yawn...
"Hey, Laito," I said, yawning, too.
"So this is our first day of high school..."
I'm so nervous I'm gonna puke.
"Yeah... I wonder what it's gonna be like..." I wondered.
He paused for a moment to think.
"Chaotic, confusing, and disastrous, probably," Laito concluded.
We rode the rest of the way in silence.

When we arrived, there were a ton of people already in the hallways. I walked beside Laito, since we have the same homeroom class.
"Do you know where you're going?" I asked Laito.
"Tch, of course," Laito said.
But he didn't convince me. We ended up going down the wrong hallway at least three times. Eventually, we found our classroom.
*ding dong do de dong*
"There's the bell," I told Laito, "We just barely made it."
"Tch, whatever," he said, rolling his eyes at me.
And that's how my first day of high school began.
