It was the best night sleep I had In ages. I finally stopped feeling guilty about all the horrible things I had done (two time with Gabbi and Kaylee; give Gabbi a panic attack etc). All of that was locked in a little chest in the back of my mind.
All of a sudden, all of the tranquillity and peacefulness had ended.
???: He needs to go to theatre now. quickly! Move it people!
Kaylee??: *sobs* nooooo. *sobs*
Gabbi: He may have been shot, but he'll survive. He's strong.
I can faintly hear her say this between sobs.
I can just hear loads of sobbing and then . . . Click.
My eyes close tight and my vision is black. Then suddenly I draw my last, raspy breath.

Me: uuuuhhhh!
I take in a huge raspy breath, that suddenly brings me back to reality. I am soaking wet from head to toe. But, that dream has just given me a reality check. I mean, you hear stuff like this going on all of the time, and you never know who could be the next victim. Me. The lads. Gabbi. The girls. Kaylee.
Then it suddenly dawns on me. Kaylee. I'm always taking her for granted and I think it's time I showed her a little appreciation.
