Alyssa's P.O.V
Today was Adam's funeral. I can't believe one of my best friends since elementary school just died. Tears were in my eyes. I cuddled close to Nathan in our bed. He tightened his grip around me and stroked my hair. He whispered soothing things in my ear. But I couldn't take it though. I started hyperventilating. I had trouble breathing. I looked at Nathan he looked at me scared he got up and dialed 911. After the call ended I had already blacked out. Last thing I heard was Nathan screaming my name and holding me close to his chest.
*At The Hospital*
I couldn't move. I couldn't speak. I couldn't even open my eyes. But I could hear. I heard my friends not just Nathan crying in the room I was in. I was in a hospital. I knew because Nathan had dialed 911 before I went black. Nathan squeezed my hand begging for me to wake-up. I tried squeezing back but it was no use. I wanted to hug him and tell him I was alright. But I couldn't. I felt like crying right now but the tears never came out. I remembered Adam's funeral. It was supposed to be at 5. When I woke-up it was 10:10. I wonder what time it is now. Then I squeezed Nathan's hand. I couldn't believe it! I heard Nathan and the others cheer. I could move! But I still couldn't see or talk.
Nathan's P.O.V
She squeezed my hand! I did a little cheer along with the others. I kissed Alyssa's soft,plump pink lips. I then sat back down and looked at her. It was 12:00. Lance went to get everyone lunch from Jimmy Johns and he wrote down our orders. Trever was holding Kailey because she was sad about Adam and Alyssa and Tori was side hugging her whispering calming things in her ear. Sami sat beside me and looked at me. "When do you think she'll wake-up?" She asked moving her Strawberry Blonde hair from her eyes. I bit my lip as I looked at her. "I honestly don't know." I said sadly. Then her eyes fluttered open. She was crying and we all looked and her and gave her a big hug. Then they pulled away and she cried in my shoulder. I stroked her hair. "Don't cry babe,it's going to be alright." He whispered into my ear. "I just wish there was someway to get Adam back." She said. I sighed sadly. "Me to Lyss,me to." I said. She pulled away and looked at me. I wiped her tears and kissed her forehead. I sat beside her in her bed. She cuddled into me. Lance came back and he handed everyone there food. He handed Alyssa hers. Wait. How'd her know she was awake? I looked at him confused. "Sami texted me." He said. I nodded he side hugged Alyssa. She smiled. She ate her sandwich and drank some of her Root Beer. The said she could go home and I threw her trash away handing her her knew clothes. Then once she was done changing we all went home to get ready for the funeral. I dressed in a tuxedo and Alyssa was wearing a black dress that went to her knees with black heels with her hair in a bun with a black hat you know that ladies where to funerals and she were pearl earrings and a pearl necklace with black gloves. Time passed and it was time to leave. After people had spoken I was last to go up. I looked out at everyone. "Today we leave our dear friend and family member to rest in peace in heaven,we all knew him as an amazing,weird,odd,and funny guy,but to me he was so much more,he was my best bud,a brother to me,he always was a caring guy,he always had great advice to share which if he hasn't given me some I wouldn't have married my wonderful wife Alyssa." I said. Everyone clapped and Alyssa gave me a small smile. "Adam always told terrible jokes,but we laughed anyway,he was a tuff guy had stood up for what he had believed in,he was always very honest and never told a lie he was and will always be in my and all of your hearts,thank you very much." I said and in the end I was crying and so was everyone else and I took my seat beside Alyssa. We all prayed and then they took Adam's casket to his grave. We left flowers and soon left. That Alyssa,Kailey,Lance,Sami,Trever,and Tori spent the night at me and Alyssa's house and we all had some lots of fun time together.
