Jane walked off of her bus, with a sense of dignity, even though everyone was taunting her. She had decided to wear a rainbow sweatshirt that day, but then realized that was a mistake since all her peers would most likely harass her. And indeed, those kids did more than harass Jane. Yet, she could care less. She was proud of herself and didn't care what those
assholes had to say.
As Jane walked slowly along the sidewalk, zigzagging in and out of the street, a tall, broad, girl came up to her and states,"Yo, cute sweatshirt."
Jane was already freaking out thinking "WHO'S THIS PRETTY GIRL AND WHY HAS SHE COMPLEMENTED ME?!" Without knowing what to think or what to say Jane stammers "Nice face."
There was a short pause and everything around them had gone silent.
"I can say the same things to you," the girl winked.
Jane gulped hard and held her breath, as if she were dreaming.
"Nah, I'm pretty ugly-" she had cut her off.
"But I bet you're wonderfilled...."
Jane was left confused by that statement, but her cheeks were still bright as day.
"The names Lovely, by the way."
Jane thought her name was beautiful. It was so unique. It sounded so wonderful.
"I'm Jane."
"Well Jane, hopefully I'll see you again. I've got to go...."
Jane smiled and looked at the ground.
"Bye mysterious-"
Lovely had already wondered off.
"-stranger."
