I'm done with high school! I am going to be a college student! I was so ready to get out of the house and try new things. I was really glad that I got an apartment by myself. The bad part was that my best friend Kayla wasn't going to the same school as me. Oh well.
I had two more weeks until school would start. The summer goes by really fast! My mother and I had to go to places to find me furniture, school supplies, new clothing, and buy some food. After we did that we grabbed a bite at Taco Bell. "You think your going to be fine at school?" My mother had said. "I think I will be excellent." "It's only an hour away from home mom." I said. We both smiled at each other.
A week has came and we had to get all of my stuff to my apartment. I was getting more nervous as each day went by. It was the feeling where your excited and then you were nervous too. We arranged my funiture, put the food in the fridge, fix my bedroom, and laid all my school supplies out. "I think we got everything." My dad commanded. "Your apartment looks nice baby." My mom had said. "Thanks, I love you guys so much!" I have told them. We all gave a group hug. "Well, we better go." "Call us if you need anything." My mom and dad had said. "I will." I have told them. We all gave each other another hug. Then, I saw my mom and dad walk out of my apartment and that's when my new life started.
