I'm Not Going Anywhere

Chapter 3

It has been the best week of my life. School was awesome! At first I was nervous, but there isn't really nothing to be scared of. Jack and I became really good friends. Last week on the third day of school, our teacher for World History made Jack and I partners for our project we have to do. We had to make a presentation about how George Washington became our first president. That meant that Jack was coming to my apartment tonight. I better take a shower and dress nicely for him. I had to cook food first. I didn't know what to cook. I didn't even know what he liked. I just called him and asked if he can get us take outs. He said yes. That meant I had to go get in the shower and get ready.

It has been an hour and a half. Jack should be getting here soon. I decided to set down on my couch and turn on the TV. I turned it to MTV and watched Teen Mom. I don't know why, but I really liked that show. I also felt bad for all the teens that had babies so early, but they were still amazing moms. I watched tv for aleast ten minutes and then I heard the doorbell ring. I hurried up to a mirror and made sure I looked alright. I walked over to the door and open it. "Hey." "Come in." I told him with a smiled. "You look nice Hayley." "Really nice." Jack said. "Thanks." As I said back blushing. "Thanks for getting food for us." "I didn't know what you like to eat." I said giggling. "Haha!" "It's fine." Jack said back. We both ate our dinner for about fifteen minutes. "You want to go to my room and start on the project?" I asked him. "Yeah." He said back smiling. We had work on our project for about thirty minutes and had gotten half of it done. "Um." "It's getting late, I better go." Jack said. "Yeah, yeah it is getting late." "I will walk outside with you." I told him back. "Ok." He said smiling back. He put on his jacket and shoes while I put on my jacket and shoes. We both walked outside to his car. "Um." "Thanks for everything." I told him smiling. "No problem." "I love working with you." Jack said smiling. We both gave each other a hug then when I was about to walk away he grabbed my waist turned me around and kissed me passionately. "Um." "You didn't have to do that Jack." I told him. "I know, but I wanted to." "I like you a lot Hayley." He told me smiling. "Me too." "Well I mean I like you too." I told him back laughing. When I went to walk back to my apartment Jack yelled at me again. "Hey, Hayley!" He said. "Yeah?" I said back. "Will, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked me. "Yeah, I would love to." I told him back. We both smiled at each other and went our separate ways. I got back into my apartment and you could say this was the best night ever!
