I'm Not Going Anywhere

Chapter 11

It was that time of the month where we left to see our families for this special day. And you know what that day is. Thanksgiving. All of our family comes in and celebrates. Well this year is going to be different. Jack was going to go with me to meet my family then I was going to go with him to meet his. Yeah I was nervous and you could tell Jack was nervous too.

We were packing the day before we left to see my family. "You nervous babe?" I asked him. "A little." "I just hope your family likes me." He said kind of bummed. I then walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Trust me they are going to love you." I told him smiling. He then leaned down and kissed me.

We were packing our things up in the car to leave. While he was putting our stuff into his car I was putting my address into his GPS. After I got done doing all of that Jack was done packing. "You ready to leave babe?" He asked me. "Yeah let's go." I told him back. He then got into the car. He then started the engine. He was backing up until I put my hands on the steering wheel. He then stopped. "What's wrong babe?" He asked worried. "Click it or ticket." I told him giggling. He then started to laugh. "Fine babe." He said with a smile on his face. After he put his seat belt on we left.

After a couple hours of driving we finally reached my house. We then pulled into my driveway. You could tell Jack was nervous. Like really nervous. He had sweat running of his forehead and his hand were shaking a little. I then put my hand oh his. "Babe it's going to be fine." "I tell my mom about you all the time." I said smiling. "What about your dad?" He said nervous. "I'm pretty sure my mom tells him everything I tell to her about you." I said smiling. "Ok I hope they just like me." He said. "They will." I said smiling.

We then got out of the car. We both walked back to the trunk to get our things. "Oh my gosh my baby home." I hear my mom say. "Honey Hayley is home!" I hear my mom scream off the porch. "Hey mom." I say walking up to her on the porch, letting go of my suitcase, then giving her a hug. "So you must be Jack." My mom said smiling. "Y-Yeah." He said kind of nervous, but he was smiling. My mom then walked over to him and gave him a hug. He had a big smile on his face. "Let's go inside to see your dad." My mom said smiling.

We then walked inside. "Hey dad." I said. "Hey baby." He said walking over to me then giving me a hug. He then looks at Jack. "I heard so many good things about you Jack." My dad said smiling. My dad then walked over to Jack and gave him a man hug. You could tell Jack wasn't stressed anymore. "Well we better go unpack our stuff upstairs." I told them. "Okay honey." My mom said. Jack and I then walked upstairs to my old room.

When we got into my room I shut the door. "See Jack I told you they would like you." I said smiling. "Yeah that's good." He said smiling. We then unpacked our stuff because we were just going to be here for two days. Thanksgiving wasn't until two days. My mom and dad was having their Thanksgiving dinner early in the morning and Jack's parents were having theirs late that night.

We then walked downstairs. It was getting late. I then set in the kitchen while Jack went to talk to my dad. "Who is all coming?" I asked my mom. "Well my side of the family and your dads." My mom said laughing. "Well no duh." I told my mom laughing. "Is your sister's daughter coming?" I said worried. "Yeah she is, just please get along with her." My mom told me. "I will try." I said kind of mad. "Goodnight mom." I said pissed.

See when I was dating a boy and he was my first boyfriend and Jack has been my second. This was back when I was 16. I was dating this boy. My mom sister's daughter came one year for a family reunion. Her name is Taylor. Well I invited my ex to come with me. Well he came. Taylor was flirting with him the whole time she was there. And she knew I was gosh damn dating him. One second I had to use the bathroom. After I got done I couldn't find my boyfriend or Taylor. Then I saw people behind a tree. I went to go look and it was Taylor and my boyfriend kissing. I then ran over to him, pushed Taylor off him, then punched her. It made her fall down. "We are done!" I said yelling at my ex. I then got in my car and left.

I ran upstairs in my room and slammed my door hard. Jack was still downstairs. I then put my face in a pillow then screamed. I then started to cry. I then heard someone running upstairs. My door then opened quickly. Then someone closed it. "What's wrong babe?" Jack said to me while walking over to my bed rubbing my back. He notice I was crying. So he laid down with my and put his hand on my back and started rubbing it. "Tell me what happen." He said. I then turned my face so I could talk to him. He then whipped the tears off my face with his hand. I then told him the story about what happen with me and my cousin. "See now I'm scared she is going to take you away from me." "You the best thing that has ever happen to me and I can't afford on losing you." "I love you so much!" I said crying. He then had tears coming down his face. "That will never happen!" "I don't want to be with any girl unless it is you Hay." He said smiling. I then leaned in and kissed him. We were kissing. "Let's go to sleep." He said smiling. We then laid down spoon style. We both then fell asleep.
