Karlea's POV
I could not believe that Joey just died. I was crying and I had no idea what to do. My friends both thought that we should just leave him there with the crown on his head. So that is what we did. A couple of months passed and I was staying with my brother Nathan. We both got a letter from the Society Against Evil, telling us that Everlock was in danger again. When I went to the dinner party with my older brother Shane, he told me that I might be chosen to go to Everlock and he was right. Nathan and I packed a bag with some gear and took on a persona. I became a ringleader and Nathan became a magician's assistant. I forgot, I also grew a fox tail and ears from my magic. With Nixie my ghost fox and Nathan by my side we went into Everlock. We both needed a soul but I had Shane's because he came here once and lived in the town for a while. Nathan got a demon called the Circus Master. He overtook Nathan and my twin brother became evil. I realized that we had to join the carnival or be stuck in time forever.

Joey's POV
After I died my soul went into the world between worlds. There was a contract that if I saved Everlock and my friends died, I could go to the human world, fail and my soul would be lost forever. I choose to accept the contract.
Nobody' POV
"My friends, I am going on an extraordinary adventure and I am in need of your help and so are hundreds of others. Karlea might be on this adventure or she might not. I do not know." Joey

Joey's POV
Five hours later...the group were huddled around a campfire MatPat had made. I came just as they were probably ready to leave. "I am glad you guys made it. So we need a soul of a former resident of Everlock to enter," I told the group. "I'll read the incantation that will cause the soul to join us. From across the veil of death, I request your summonses so I might make wrong things right." The souls then died down and we saw the bridge light up. We walked towards the bridge.
