Day 1 of summer:
I am still searching for my mystery lover. It had to be someone in my grade. But who?
"Still thinking about who your mystery lover is?" Lexi asked me, glancing away from the TV.
"Yeah," I whispered.
"I hope you figure it out by the end of summer vacation," Ky added.
"Thanks," I replied.
Jesse's POV.
I wonder if she found yet. Who gave her that note. Guess I'll just have to wait and see the Saturday of my birthday party. Yes, I invite kids other than boys. Surprised? You should be.

Week 3 of summer:
Who likes me? I have no idea. I'm so confused. I stood up and walked into the kitchen. I grabbed an ice tea, sitting back down on the couch beside Hazey. Shelby sat on the floor, loving her pet, Chloe, to death.
What now? Will I ever find out who my mysterious writer is? Or won't I?
Jesse's POV.
Tomorrow is Saturday. My birthday party. Uhm... suddenly I do not feel so well. Did she find out yet?
