When I woke up I felt a hand on mine and when I opened my eyes I've began to smile weakly already. "I can't tell you what would've happend if you weren't okay now." He whispered. "I am okay now. I promise." I said and he nodded and sighed in relief. "Where were you, Olivia?" He asked. I shaked my head, signalising that I can't talk about it. "Where is Hayley? Is she alright?" He nodded confused about the questions and I sighed in relief. "She's with Hope and Rebekah. She is concerned about you, but she is perfectly fine. Why? What happend?"

I sat up and looked into his eyes. "Promise me something." I whispered and put my hands on his cheeks while I thought about my following words. "Everything." He said and I smiled for a second. "Promise me to stay at my side, when I am at my worst. Promise me to never let me go." I said with a lower voice and looked up into his eyes again. He began to chuckle. "How could I want to let you go? You're the woman I want, Olivia, and that's not gonna change."

I felt the tears in my eyes and nodded. "I know. But you don't know what I know. You don't know the price we'll pay. I'm the only one who can defeat Ruby." I stroke his cheek softly on more time and then got up. "And I have to keep you safe." I added with a trembling voice. "What are you talking about?" He asked and sped infront of me, looking into my brown eyes. "I have to stop her. And I need to do it alone." Then I closed my eyes and let my inner darkness out.

When I opened my eyes again I felt the void I once felt. When the hollow was inside of him. But now the void is so much stronger.

"It is the only way to save her." I whispered and saw his widen eyes. "No!" He sped me against a wall and shaked his head. "Don't do this. Don't do this, Olivia!" He pleaded and I sighed. "It is the only way. I'm sorry. Don't come after me." I whispered cold and then snapped his neck. I put my soul necklace in his hand and gave my love on last look. My last sign of humanity.

I opened a portal and went through it. A mischievous smile appeared on my lips when I saw the lake of grace. I kneeled infront of it and let my hand hover over it. Within seconds the lake began to freeze.

When I jumped through the next portal I opened I arrived Nemea. The other kingdom. "Olivia..."  a voice whispered and I began to feel the intensity of the darkness in my soul. He will feel it too.

Suddenly a woman appeared infront of me, when I stepped out of the woods. "Ruby, I assume?" She smiled wickedly at me. "I have waited a long, long time for you to arrive. Shall we?" I smirked at her and nodded.

We arrived at the big old castle that seemed familiar to my own. "Meridial and Nemea were onced ruled by a family, you know. Guess which family?" She asked and I rolled my eyes. "Meridial is over thousands of years old. I couldn't care less about it right now." I said and she turned around to me. "We, the Hale family, we've come a long way. I was one of the first who was born with the gene. The curse as I like to call it. But that is not why you are here, isn't it?" She looked into my eyes as I looked into hers. I heard another voice, screaming inside of her. The real Ruby.

"Why are you posessing her?" I asked and sat down in the throne room when we arrived it. "She is strong. She is powerful and yet, she is the only Hale who experienced the darkness by losing her other half. You are experiencing the darkness because of what?" She asked and I thought of a good and believable lie. After all, I couldn't let her hurt them. Or him.

"I lost him. I lost my other half. I lost my family." I said and she clapped in her hands before laughing maniacally. "That's just perfect. How?" She asked and came closer. "Sophia Chamberlain killed them." I said cold and she smirked again. "I knew that this girl was of use." She mumbled to herself.

"Actually, it's a real shame. I've always wanted to see the Mikaelson family again. I knew them, you know. Back in the good old days. Before they were turned and a while after that. Always wondered what happend to them after they were turned." She got up from her seat at the table and wandred through the room.
