Chapter 2:
Nasanay na akong magkasama kami ni Vince pag vacant hours at breaktime. Sya lang kasi ang kakilala ko and besides I haven't seen Anthon and Alex in the University.
I'm about to go to my next class. Usually hinahatid ako ni Vince to my room. He's very gentleman naman kahit noon pa. We're on the stairs to the 2nd floor nang may makasalubong kaming isang girl at isang maputi at matangkad na lalaki.
I was so shock when Vince mentioned the name of the boy.It was Alex Montemayor! honestly at that moment natigilan ako habang tinititigan si Alex. He looks very much different. Vince was right. He's pretty much of a head turner guy. With that height? well not much of the height kasi hindi naman pang basketball player na height but for a girl, matangkad na talaga sya. Not to mention his complexion na parang balat ng babae. Babaeng vain huh!
"Hi! girlfriend ka ni Vince?"
I was starstruck kaya hindi ako agad nakasagot. Thank God Vince answered,"Hindi ah! Alex, it's Ashley. Schoolmate natin nung high school sa Olympus High School. Don't you recognize her?"
"Oh! Ashley Valdez? Ex-girlfriend ni Anthon?"
"Talagang ganyan ang pagkakatanda mo sa akin Alex?"
"Oh! sorry huh? bestfriend ko kasi si Anthon that's why I know his Ex's...anyway kumusta ka?"
"Ahhh ganun ba? I'm doing good! Ikaw it looks like you've changed a lot! Binatang-binata ka na! and...."
"Grabe naman yung term. Para kang lola kong matagal akong hindi nakita. I know the changes. Tumangkad ba o gumwapo?(sabay tawa) just kiddin'... Glad to see you both but let's chat some other time. Nagmamadali kasi 'tong kasama ko eh."
Before ako nakapagpaalam, nakalayo na sila. They really look that they're in a hurry. I was really struck! Sobrang laki ng ipinagbago nya. Admittedly, I think crush ko na sya. Out of curiosity, I asked Vince about the girl he's with.
"Girlfriend nya?"
"Hindi raw! sabi nya! pero lagi silang magkasama."
"Kilala mo yung girl?"
"Yah! She's Maya. Classmate sya ni Alex sa lahat ng subject. Alam ko single mom yun and a bit older than us. Teka... bakit mo tinatanong? curious? and I noticed how you look at them huh! Don't tell me?..."
"Oh please! d0n't start with me Vince! hindi ko pinakekealaman yung lovelife mo huh! hindi ba pwedeng nagtanong lang?"
Kinabahan ako dun ah! Ayokong mahalata ni Vince na attracted ako sa itsura ni Alex. Mahirap na baka isipin nya I'm one of those Alex's fans. Hhhmmm I'm better than them. (Chos!)
