I gripped the sheets tightly, heart racing as I swallowed the lump in my throat, thinking. Thinking about what the doctor had said, what he had meant, my fingers went to my mouth as I chewed my thumb nail. What secret? I don't have any secrets... I always thought Doc was undeniably disturbing but, this topped the list of his creepiness. If I had no secret, then why was I so shaken about what he had said? I had no idea nut the twisted feeling in my stomach, sent me into a shivering fit. What had Doc meant? Raising my hand to my chest, trying to slow my irregular breathing, I closed my eyes. It's funny how when you close your eyes and open them the darkness looks the same but, it's so very different. The two darknesses were so different and uncomfortable, vulnerability rushed over me. What's wrong with me? I've never been afraid of the dark, why should I be now?

I snapped my eyes open, my body shaking. I need to get out of this room. Instead of the darkness being a comforting mother, it acted as if it were a chocking noose. It would wrap around my neck, my arms... I creeped everywhere.. I could feel it.. Somethings behind me. I whirled around, staring into the blackness of the room, the outline of it faint. It didn't seem like there was anything in here...

" Rain."

I could feel my face drain from all color as the whisper pounded in my ears.

" Rain."My heart was thudding it's way up my throat, I was frozen in place with horror.

" Raaaaaaaaaaain." It was closer now, I could feel the breath of it. I could feel an invisible hand stretch out for me.

" RAIN," the Whisper screamed. It rumbled through the room. One word passed through my mind. Daemon. My hand slipped to the doorknob as I pushed my self out of the room. My feet seem to fly across the tile as I sped to the kitchen. I've never felt this... This feeling of intense coldness that rushed throughout your body. It was horrifying. Sitting on the floor, near the sink, I huddled my knees close to my chest, trying to make my breaths shallow.

Silence.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid? Cold sweat dribbled down my temple, fear burned inside me. No, it was real. Was it? Yes, it was real. My whole body was shaking as the light in the kitchen flickered from over-use. Please... Please don't go out!!!! I found my eyes brimming with tears as I internally begged the light bulb to stay lit. The flickering subsided and a relived breath escaped my lips.

" You know the light doesn't has no affect right?"

I could feel my body go ridged as I turned my head slowly to where the voice was coming from. The hallway. A slim white leg stepped out from the shadows as I took fearfully in the figure before me. It was the Reflection, except no quite, even though she was also naked. This reflection had clean, unsoiled skin with shimmering silver tatoos that went from her temple and around her eyes, just below her brow. A kind light resonated from her as she stepped foward. Gold was sparkling around her like feathery wings... Were they wings? No, thats impossable... Was it? My mouth was agape with amazment. Was this me?

"Are.. Are you? Are you supposed to be... Me?"

Her... Or mine? Whatever... Her face lit up with amusment, " Supposed to be? I AM you.. Or at least the more enjoyable side of you."

" Wha- What?"

Reflection sighed, I could sense the pity as she flipped the red hair from her shoulder, " In person has a soul. A soul is what makes the human being what they are... Love, hate, jelousy... Fear, regrett, sadness. It all comes together in equalibrium. Each emotion and memory feeds off the other and cradles the other in usion, perfecting the balance. I happen to be what you may call; happiness, love, every good emotion and memory you have is with me."

Was I insane? This couldnt be possable, not the slightest, " Am i dreaming?"

Her eyes glowed like polished halos as she scoffed, " Hardley."

My cheeks felt like they were filled with cotton, my tongue dry, " Then... Why.. What are-"

" You know nothing, do you?" In a split second she was at my side stroking my hair. Somehow, for a reson I don't know, I wasn't afraid... I couldn't bring myself to reject Reflection's warm touch. It seemed everything about her was angelic. Even though she was supposed to be me, I couldn't bring myself to believe I was that beautiful. I have looked at myself everyday and I did not look like what reflection looked like. She literally was brimming with gold, silver, and warmth. She caressed my cheek tenderly, " Learning what was ment to be hidden is the worst experiance but, it must happen."

" What will happen," I questioned thoughtfully.

Reflection's lips parted before a harsh spat echoed from the shadows, " Do NOT speak another word."

I froze, I knew that voice... That dreadfull voice... I knew it! A pale naked figure stepped into the light, her legs shimmering with gore, black crcks ran up along her like snakes. No.. Oh god, this can't be happening. Reflection smiled back at my horror with sharp white daggers.
